The hotel is very central for the Bazars and sights at Sultanahmet, the tram T1 is very close, there are some nice (touristy) restaurants right at the spot and they are building a metro station only 100m away, which should open some time in the future. Breakfast was quite diverse and the staff was very friendly.
The "Spa" is quite basic and lacks relaxed atmosphere, but the massage was technically speaking great and cost only 20€ for 1 hour. It's good if you want to fix your muscles after a long day of shopping/sightseeing/partying, but you shouldn't plan to spend a longer time there. In the rooms in the 5th floor you could hear the steps from the restaurant above - if you plan to sleep past 9am, you should ask for a quite room.
cleanliness, order, polite Hotel staff
everything was fine
it is very near Sultah Ahmet Suqare & Tram Station
it is fine, eveything is OK
the location is excellent, the room is a little small but very clean.
it was in the heart of Istanbul, closer to all best places.Breakfast was so good and we had a great time there.
Me and two my friends stated in the hotel for 4 days in a triple room which was very clean. Size of the room was a bit surprising (very small room) but it was not a big deal since we only slept there. In general the hotel is comfortable and very well located (close to train station and famous sights)/
Two things I didn't like about the hotel: very poor breakfast and sound of voices and movements coming from adjacent rooms (you can very clearly hear what people are talking about).
It was close to all the main sights and it was sparkling clean.
Some rooms are extremely small and breakfast was poor. Also, they charged 4,5 Turkish liras for the freshly squeezed orange juice.
central location, breakfast
Very nice place to stay for a few days in your vacation. The hotel is very accesible and situated near most of the sightseeing spots in Istanbul (Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazar). The staff of the hotel was very hospitable and I shall surrely spend my next vacation at Centrum Hotel.
The hotel is ideally placed for the exploration of the city. All the important city sights were accessible on foot.
Carpets in the rooms were old and worn though the rest of the decor appears to have been refurbished..
