It is small, nice, homely and people there were very nice. it is also very near to places like top kapi, blue mosque, gand bazaar etc....
Nice & helpful staff, good location, only 5 minutes walking from S. Sophia and the Blue Mosque, but if you are interested in good restaurants, pubs, discos, or nightlife in general, you’ll rather stay near Taksim square. After midnight no public transportation is available to come back from Taksim to Sultanahmet. My boyfriend and I stayed here for 5 nights we went every night to Taksim, so we had to come back either before midnight by tram, or walk back to the hotel (30 – 40 minutes). It's your choise!
Quite small rooms and a bit overpriced, but Istanbul is much more expensive than any other Turkish city.
Very friendly staff. Perfect location. Very reasonable price. Bedroom and shower room were spacious and clean
Breakfast could be a bit more varied. We stayed 4 nights and felt a bit bored with the same food every morning
Good location, clean room and bathroom, fridge in room and quiet area at night,
Breakfast was basic and not good quality; shower head was broken and only fixed when I put broken parts on reception counter; three lightbulbs were in need of replacement; one bedroom had window opening onto blank wall only armslength away
Although the rooms were small but were clean and the staff were helpful.
The breakfast service in case of availability in overcrowd days was not acceptable.
The staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay. We were able to borrow a plug convert, get good suggestions to local points of interest, and book a cab through the concierge. The breakfast was also decent. Showers were always very hot, and the rooms were very clean.
Of the five nights we stayed there, our tv was out for three nights, while the room next door still had tv. (We could hear it.) Which brings me to the second point that the walls are very thin, and I could hear loud neighbors/the tv/shower running. Luckily, I always travel with ear plugs.
Very good location to explore Istanbul (walking and tram 5 minutes away) , extremely helpful staff , cleaned well everyday. Good choice for independent or people who do not like/need extreme luxury or the formality/anonimity of a large hotel.
a little noisy , triple rooms too small (not real triple), when we were there (oct 09) problems with electronic room locks so you ahd to be very careful that room was locked properly
Clean, friendly hotel a great location off the main street a few minutes to tramway
soundproofing, odd occasion would be a problem generally quiet
The hotel is centrally located on a quiet street. The rooms were clean, the AC worked and they have wireless. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Great value.
The staff was friendly, I had room for parking just in front of the hotel. They called from the reception and a mini-bus took us to a very good fish restaurant at 1 o'clock in the night. It is very close to Big Bazar 5 min walking from the hotel.
Very hard to find the address, you better take a taxi. In one of the rooms the bathroom smelled very bad, but the other room was clean. Breakfast was not so "good quality" but this is how it is in Turkey.
