A lot. The bed sheets had marks on them. The room wasn’t like the pictures advertised. Small rooms and small bathrooms with shower. The breakfast was poor. The location sucks too. Also, we could hear everything from he next door room, so the walls were not soundproof. Overall, not worth the money.
Mangana Konak was quite convenient to get to, although finding the hotel the first time was a bit difficult. The room was clean and as advertised in the pictures. The hotel was very quiet and the hot tub in the room was an added bonus. The staff was very helpful and the internet worked quite well.
The breakfast could use a bit of improving but overall not bad for a free hotel breakfast.
The staff was very courteous and warm. We really enjoyed interacting with Mr. Kader, Mr. Ramazan and the cleaning/ breakfast lady, she was very sweet.
Just thought the rooms could have been cleaned better on a daily basis. Also, the toileteries were inadequate.
The hotel is very good for people who love a quiet family holiday, but the hotel management should be aware of the services that they claimed in the cost (in the room did not have access to the internet)
Great hotel, location is fantastic and the view from the terrace is as good as it gets. Staff is great, breakfast is very good. When I return to Istanbul, I know the place where to stay.
The Hotel itself is well appointed. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious and almost self contained. However the location did not suit the cost of the hotel and was difficult for the taxi driver to find. The location of the hotel on your website is not where the hotel is and you need to be clearer with the directions to the hotel from the airport. Also, we booked a garden suite and almost had to settle for the junior suite. We insisted on the garden suite since it is was we had chosen and requested via your booking form. They only have two garden suites but the garden is not a nice garden, we couldn't really enjoy the it as it is unkempt.
The breakfast was below basic.
The hotel is in Sultanahmet area which is close to lots of attractions. The Suite room is wonderful, clean, modern and the size is perfect. The breakfast is ok and the hotel stuffs are kind and helpful.
The hotel location is trik and not clear for taxis outside the Sultanahmet area since all taxis I have taken from outside the hotel location got lost.
The staff consists of one guy since the administration stuff is done at another hotel (Hotel Spina) but he was very attentive and there everytime we needed something.
The location is not the best becasue it's away from the other hotels in the area. Adds a 5 minute walk to the attractions and shopping. It's so off the beaten track that I would not have guessed a hotel was there because it's nestled in a "residential" area.
Big room, nice big bathroom, clean.
Very difficult to find hotel. I had printed a map for taxidriver, even then he had difficulties finding it. Big nice bed, but madrass very hard. Promised fully equipped kitchen, but didnt have any cookingplate, whats that??? Only waterheater, microwave, refrigerator, no knives, only 2 glasses, 2 plates, 2 cups and 2 spoons. How can you make any food with that? I expected a room on 1. floor bcs I made reservation for garden suite and thought it would have a private garden. But got a room on 2. floor, with only view to a very poor garden if you can call it a garden at all. Breakfast could be improved a lot.
The bed was very comfortable. Having breakfast on the rooftop terrace had an amazing view of the ocean and the Blue Mosque.
It was very difficult to find. Shower pressure was very poor.
I liked the room , its decoration and breakfast on the roof terase but they should have an alternative room for breakfast if ist raining .
There are some points to be improved :first of all was nowhere mention that at the check in time you have to go firstly at another hotel "Spina " to get the key for entrance door and your room . So , I went directly to hotel and was surprised that I cannot check in there .In the end , the person in charge with administration went to "Spina " and brought the keys.Than, if you want to pay by credit card , at check out you also have to go go the other hotel . Anyway they will send a car to pick you up . Second, the satelit receptor did not work properly ; I could not watched tv .I would recommend the small kitchen to have also a electrical machine for cooking not only microwave cupboard , some plates and tools to be used for cooking .
Great location in a quiet street still close to the tourist attractions in the old town. The room was large with balconies to the sea on one side and the old town on the other.
