Good service by the staff
The location can be good but only if you intend to spend the whole night partying, as the noise in the street makes impossible any sleep or resting. The location is wrong in Google maps and Booking.com, as the real one is closer to Istiklal street and in a street full of bars and restaurants.
Hotels need a minimum of infrastracture which should be in conditions that allow some level of comfortable use. That means some maintenance and some periodical investment. The furniture is unacceptable: old, run down, badly kept, dirty curtains that do not cover the window. No curtains in the shower at all and the tiny bathroom gets fully flooded after use. The lift does not meet any modern-world safety standards. All in all, this cannot be considered a hotel but, maximum, a pansyon for low budget backpackers looking for a long night out partying and "enjoying" a minimum stay in the precarious room. Price is outrageous as it would never go beyond the one of a youth hostel. For some extra euros one can get a real hotel in Istanbul.
Good location in the middle of streets with restaurants and bars.
Rooms are small, not very clean. Shower is quite poor. You smell cigarette smoke in the corridor and lobby. Staff might improve their language skills.
the personal was very friendly and helpful.
