Breakfast had no fruit or juice the day I we there. The bed spring were noisy but the bed was comfortable. The room was a little shabby but I we more was happy with how clean it was.
Not what you expect
Manager was really nice and moved us to a different motel as all the rooms were up stairs and most of the down stairs rooms were being remodeled due to fire
When we arrived the desk clerk Jessica took a long time to check us in then we got told all she has was upstairs and we have a infant and quite a bit of stuff to bring also I can’t go up and down stairs due to surgery on my knee. Once we came back and check to make sure as we seen rooms on the bottom unoccupied and told her I can’t go upstairs Jessica started laughing and was just really rude so it took the main manager to fix things which took about a hour
DO NOT STAY HERE! So dirty.
There was nothing good about this place. My husband and I try to find affordable options as we road trip, which we do often. This was without a doubt the most disgusting hotel I have ever been in. There was nothing good about it. The best part was when we left.
The stink is unbearable. I had a headache within 20min of arriving and it never went away because it was so stinky. There were hair balls on the blankets and the blankets were terribly sticky. The carpeting was sticky everywhere. The walls were dirty. When my alarm went off at 6am I jumped out of bed and we were out of there by 6:15. I'm not a morning person at all, so this speaks to how bad it was. We drove for about 20min to a rest stop and slept for another two hours in our car. We didn't dare use the towels and we most certainly didn't bring our suitcases in for fear of bed bugs (for the record there were no bed bugs so I guess that's something positive). And checking in was also a nightmare. The man at the front desk was friendly but couldn't type in our reservation correctly and it took about 15min to check us in and we already had a reservation. I can't imagine what would have happened if we hadn't payed yet (we would have left, that's what). Then we got over to our room and the key reader didn't work so we had to go back and stand in line again to get another one. Just don't stay here.
Room was clean and the mattress was comfortable. Chairs provided by the hotel were not good. I don't expect first class in an inexpensive hotel, but it would be nice if the desk chair was comfortable and the other chair seat wasn't dirty and stained with who knows what. It was okay for my male friend and me, but my wife would never stay at Old Hickory Inn. I give it two stars. Fine if you are on a tight limited budget.
The light cover in the bathroom was so old and filthy that light could barely get through it. The toilet made a loud screeching sound which went on for about a minute after flushing.Otherwise, the bathroom was clean.
Finally a good value with no bad surprise!
clean comfy and located right
Clean , comfortable, close to everything, but has three bars behind it and until 1ish they are loud, really LOUD.
Bars was loud
Marriott was sold out and this was my
Anxious to leave
low price comparably, one of the two people at front desk was nice
very dirty and sketchy, never had such thin walls, not well kept at all
clean and friendly staff
The staff was friendly. We have service dogs and there were no issues with check in that we have found in many establishments. It was very clean. Comfortable beds with clean sheets and comfortable pillows.
There are some maintenance issues. Stains on the ceiling, popcorn on the ceiling was coming down in some locations. Bathrooms needupgrades or at least some new caulking aaround the tub and fixtures.
