Pros: While the rooms, facilities and general atmosphere at Tamarix del Mar were all quite lovely, the real stand out was the service. Georgia, Demi, George and their staff all went out of their way to make our stay as amazing as possible. My wife and I stayed here on the second leg of our Santorini trip and had just come from staying a few nights at the Absolute Bliss Hotel in Imerovigli (on the other side of the island). Unbeknownst to us, both hotels had the same owner, and we could really tell from the quality of the service. As we mentioned in our review of Absolute Bliss, the service there was utterly outstanding, and the service at Tamarix lived up to the high expectations created by its sister hotel. So if you're staying in Kamari, we would definitely recommend staying at Tamarix -- the service alone makes it well worth it.

Cons: We got ripped off by the cab company the hotel partners with to arrange rides to Fira. We were charged 10 euros per person for a 10 minute ride. You don't need a cab from this hotel to get around, just a few steps down the street is a bus stop where air conditioned coach buses will take you to Fira for less than 2 euros at the time this is written.

Pros: I choose this place because it's close to airport and I had early morning flight to catch, it was a wise move. Place is quiet and layback, this part not many ppl, also not many stores and restaurants and actives to do other than beach. Love the pool.

Pros: Not sure I liked anything about this hotel other than it’s flowe to the airport.
Cons: I didn’t like almost everything about this place, to name a few, the WiFi doesn’t work and when it does, it’s extremely slow. The staff also pretend like they didn’t know that was a problem and make you feel like it’s your fault when you complain. The beds aren’t comfortable. The TVs are still CRT, so forget about watching anything else other the 3 polish channels that show reruns all day long. The breakfast, Although complementary, Is an an eyesore, the pool is cold, the drinks are expensive, the food is subpar. Again, the list of what I like is much shorter, you should read that.
