Great location. Friendly staff.
The hotel is due for a remodel, which I heard was coming soon so that's good.
The view, the beach, the bar, the shows
Pool was kinda small. My only complaint
Very cultural with nightly show
The family activities, the environment feels a real cultural hawaiian home feeling. The lush fruit and flower gardens, the family activities, the beach, the beach staff especially the SUP staff. The nightly show.i like the native Hawaiian furniture in the room.
The food in the restaurants, tiki bar. The pool was not heated, the boutique store, boring with old stuff, no fire pits.the bathroom shower needs light and updated.no life guard on the beach and no safe zone lines in the beach water. Not even a coast guard making rounds at anywhere in the Ocean. Scary!
Very comfy. Great location. Good value.
Pool is kind of a joke.
Traditional Hawaiian hotel, great stay but needs updating
Location, beach front in one of the best spots on the beach. Entertainment, nightly traditional Hawaiian music and dance. Price, affordable for the locations bad facilities. Facilities, has all facilities required for your stay. Staff, lovely staff who bring a wonderful vibe to the hotel.
Dated, rooms and grounds were old and needed refreshing. Slight smell of damp - requiring update of rooms and hallways. Pool, was a bit small.
Access to the beach, snorkeling, staff great. Evening entertainment nightly!
Everything was great. We liked how quite it was, especially compared to the Westin. Really enjoyed the nightly live music and hula. The food was very good. Make sure you try the pina colada cheese cake. Definitely the most hawaiian hotel. Will be staying there again
Great guest treatment
The friendly staff
Loved the beach
We loved the whale watching opportunity the beach provided. The beach is the best! It is a protected cove that allows for easy swimming.
The rooms are old, facilities are old and dated, the restaurant food was plain, the live music was fair,
A gem! The hotel was perfect for our stay. Great location to the beach, shops, restaurants, and tours. The rooms were clean and comfortable but a little outdated, however that didn't matter. We would definitely stay here again.
the beds weren't that great
Hotel shows signs of age and room felt very moist and had a faint mildew smell
The htel and staff are efficient and very friendly & offer an authentic Hawain atmosphere.
It was very comfortable and clean I loved the pool and the space for tanning. The room was made up promptly and well. What a great hula show and entertainment!
Everything more met my expectations!
Excellent staff, actually made you feel welcome and that they truely appreciated your business. Great restaurant and snack bar on grounds. The grouunds themself are well taken care of and are constantly being groomed.
I did not like the fact you had to pay $9.00 a day for self parking and $11.00 a day for valet parking.
It was very close to everything, the grounds are beautiful and it was just a great place to relax.
Hotel was right on the beach, staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel is walking distance to shopping and restaurants.
The fact that internet was not included in the room rate.
Service; Hawaiian flavor; welcome breakfast where the staff highlighted "things to do."
Because I missed a flight connection (no fault of my own), I did not arrive at the hotel until December 27, or one day late; yet, the hotel still charged me for December 26th, a day I did not stay there.
Authentic Classic Hawaiian Old Style
Nearness to the beach; Grounds are well-kept; a/c in room worked well; Hotel personnel are friendly; Maid service was good; Small store on-site was very convenient; Breakfast buffet each morning was good;
Too noisy every night - live music ran until 9pm; Tiki bar over-priced and nothing special; Room had no microwave; no jacuzzi; no gym; hotel guests should not be charged for parking; though hotel grounds are well- kept the hotel is showing its age -- our room had a strong musty smell in one corner; would have been a plus if room had a dvd player in addition to tv & cable
garden was amazing! And also stuff of this hotel!!
This is a nice Hotel that I can recommend. The rooms were nice although nothing really special. There is a nice atmosphere and the staff does everything to introduce you to the Hawaiian culture. The swimming pool is OK but simple no slides or other fancy things which offer some of the other more expensive hotels. The music and dance performances are nice and the terrace is perfect to sit and relax in the evening.
