the lake terrace. clean room
small roms, minimal amenities parking lot view
Great value, tolerable comfort
Loved the location, things were clean, room was appropriately stocked and facilities were great.
The beds aren't comfortable, TV reception not great at times
close to gore for skiing
small uncomfortable beds
The fact that the room was clean I booked on line and was upgraded to a king size bed, I felt safe as the property was well lite and easily excessable to a main rode as I was traveling alone. Great deal for the money.
The Georgian is in a most convenient location in a great little town. It has become our first choice for lodging in the area. We are winter customers and choose to stay here and make the drive to Gore Mountain for skiing. We enjoy the people who work here. They are very helpful and friendly and go out of their way to accommodate their customers. It is nice that they have even come to recognize us when we stroll frequently into the lobby for coffee. The rooms are consistently clean and comfortable and have been tastefully updated. Very much worth staying at the Georgian.
The heating is sometimes tricky to control. ... and we prefer to bring our own pillows (a personal preference) :)
Mainly the location. And a resturant right there which was excellent! And not pricey.
room was comfortable
Price was high considering most things were shut - breakfast-pool etc
The hotel is conveniently located near Lake George Village, making it easy to access shops, restaurants and activities on foot.
We used the 'do not disturb' sign while we were in the room, but when we used the 'please make up room' while we were out for the day, housekeeping never returned.
The location was great, rooms were comfortable and a great fire works display on Thursday night which could be seen from the pool area.
Perfect Location to the Village. Great setting on the lake. Super value allowing us to afford many other activities. Pool was nice, with nice bacdrop of the Lake.
I did not like it at all. Other than the bedding, which was pristine, everything else was dirty and unkempt. The carpet was stained, the bath didn't look clean, the path to our hotel room had stained and ripped carpeting. I don't think the website accurately depicted the poor state of the hotel that we stayed at. To top it off, they tried to charge us a higher rate (by $50) then what we had booked with booking.com. Thank goodness I had printed out the confirmation.
The waitress we had at the breakfast buffet was great. Very friendly.
