Hotel needs a refresh
Remodeling the carpeting everywhere needed.
Helpful staff that really cared
Breakfast was nice lots of fruit
Helpful, friendly staff. Clean room
Public space felt a bit worn and dirty
Not the best hampton I’ve been to
Not the cleanest, cheapest or friendly hotel
Not worth it
The pluses - Decent breakfast (basic). Airport transport. Decent size room & bathroom (it's a regular Hampton size). Great door guy - helpful with directions. Almost everyone had a fantastic attitude except the front desk.
Mold in shower - couldn't give it more stars. Ick. It took almost 45 minutes for the shuttle to come. We took a lyft back. Kids running around like crazy! Although Hampton tried to wrangle them since parents were no where to be found. Pool was closed but our email confirmation said it was open until the following week. We got a text that same day. I booked based on the very few hours I had for pool time (one night stay) and allowing use of the Tropicana was a waste. No time to even get there or back. I understand the front desk can't do anything about "pool renovations" but they could have at least seemed concerned. Everyone was complaining. And who closes a pool in June? Won't be back.
We stayed there for Friday and Saturday because we couldn't find any reasonsable price on the strip. Our trip was 8 nights. Anyway, Hampton offers hotel shuttles to the airport and the strip. That was awesome. The best thing was free and healthy breakfast. The breakfast included hot items, waffles, pastries, fruits, oatmeal and yogurt. The staff went around the breakfast areas to remind guests that the breakfast would be over in 10 min. That demonstrated good customer service to me. We appreciated it. Since it is not a casino hotel, the air quality was good and smoke-free.
Very comfortable beds Near In-N-Out for late night snack Good Breakfast both food and eating set-up
Driver said shuttle to strip stopped at before 11pm which seemed strange and meant that we had to drive our own car for a 10pm show at the Tropicana.
The shuttle driver was very professional and really nice . The staff at check in were very helpful and respectful
When I arrived felt a little ignored . No one said anything and I was waiting until some one said somethig.
Best Breakfast. Comfortable beds
It was ok....expected a little more
The pool area was nice and cozy, although they close at 10. We were there over the 4th of July weekend and you would think they would be a little lax on the time since it was a holiday, but at 9:59 the lady working the bar came out and told everyone to leave. We stayed at Fairfield the night before and their pool closed at 11.
The breakfast sucked. A lot of reviews I read said the breakfast was "awesome." Far from the truth. They had the typical waffles, fruit, yogurt, and pastries. Boiled eggs and egg omelets floating around in liquid...ok? No bacon or sausage. I grabbed a banana and called it a day. They had a nice older gentleman as a Breakfast Attendant that went around and gave the kids toys and coloring pages which was a nice gesture. He was really friendly and seemed to enjoy his job. The rooms were basic, nothing special. They had a small cube refrigerator in the room that was just randomly laying on the floor. Never seen that before...usually it's in a cabinet.
The front desk staff were very kind and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. NO resort or parking fees. Shuttle to the strip every hour. Neutrogena toiletries.
Weird, ocean (?) type smell in lobby, probably temporary.
its has a great location and it was very quiet place.
I had to went to the front desk so many time because the key doesnt work.
Hampton Inns are predictably comfortable: beds and bedding are high quality; rooms are spacious; furniture is clean and comfortable; internet access is excellent; breakfasts offer a variety of foods. The airport shuttle was a plus.
Hotel was centrally located, so it was convenient. Rooms were comfortable.
Staff were very disorganized at check-in (I checked in at 10PM), as they weren't sure that they had a clean room at that time. Took approximately 20 minutes to check-in as a result, as they had to have housekeeping check for a clean room. Can't imagine what would have happened if I had arrived at the 3PM check-in time. Also, housekeeping did not clean our room during our stay. Hot breakfast was poorly maintained i.e. cold food, minimal food, etc.
The room was clean, big bath tub, plenty of food available for breakfast (included in price).
The hotel shuttle can drop you off to the Strip but they don't pick up! Considering that the hotel is not on the Strip they should arrange for pick up their guests.
