The pillows are pathetic, no closet in room, and access to the bathroom was via a squeaky sliding door. Most restaurants were operating with limited hours. Not recommended at all for a family.
Everything was nice
Easier checkout. Not having to wait in long lines to check out
We stayed there for an event so we liked the location.
Needs modernizing, place is looking tired. We had to carry our own luggage as the baggage carts were for Valet use only and it's a long way from parking to our room. There was no map to show where our room was in relation to parking or to find our way around this huge complex. Employees seemed grumpy. Room was very dark and needed more lighting and brighter colors. There were no USB ports but plenty of 110v type plugs. Very limited TV channels and no channel guide to see what was playing. Restaurants were very busy and slow to serve. We were there for two nights and our room keys shut off at 10:00am, two hours prior to checkout. We've had much better stays at Holiday Inn Express. We won't be coming back to The Orleans.
It’s easy parking and valet is good.
The room had no insulation at all. You can hear all the noise from outside. You can hear people walking and talking, and people knocking at the door like they are knocking on mine door. Just too noisy.
bed mattress had no support uncomfortable, when done taking shower I was ankle deep in water, limited channels on tv and a resort fee for this hotel is ridiculous
I prepaid and there was no notification of a restart fee. When I checked in I had to pay an additional $36 resort fee.
too many restaurants in the hotel
Never got to check in because of hidden rates
Tell guest fees upfront
Stay was great both the kids and the wife had a great time at the pool and bowling and staff was really helpful. Except for a couple of incidents smooth stay.
2 of the issues we had were: 1. They double booked our room so in the middle of putting our kids down for a nap a complete stranger walked in our room. He was extremely apologetic about the incident but that to me was a big issue that should’ve never happened. Second issue was house keeping just opening the door to our room while my wife was in her sleeping clothes and I was in my boxers. No knock or anything just opened the door and asked if we were checking out. Obviously we weren’t with the babies sleeping and my wife and I trying to relax.
The location and place was perfect. Lots to do in one location.
Our room smelled like mildew, the carpet floor was wet. I called for some to come and take a look and they said it will dry up and they didn’t notice the smell. Unfortunately no other rooms were available ☹️ And we were too tired to look for another hotel.
Room was clean.
Smoke-filled casino had a terrible odor that wreaked around the whole building. Resort fee was in the fine print, and made the value decline substantially. Hotel ended up being 80 bucks per night. Could’ve stayed at countless other casinos with nicer rooms for half the price.
The Medley buffet has great food. The movie theater was comfortable. The live band was awesome. Everything (except shopping) right on site.
