The room was clean, staff was very nice, caffees/pubs/shops were just behind the corner. The center was easily accessible on foot or by bus/metro
It was non-smoking hotel but the smell in the room was at it was smoking room. Breakfast were very poor and coffee and tea were awful.
Quiet place near the downtown
The staff was very kind and helpful. The room was clean and really quiet as it proposed in the description.
Location of this hotel is not very good for visiting historic Lisbon while it's perfect to stay in the city and to be out of touristic hive. It's easy to get to to the hotel by public transport or taxi from any part of the city which compensates it's location disadvantage.
Clean, well run, halfway between the city center and the airport - good for one night on your way back home.
Location is a bit too far from where all the action is. The subway station is 10 min away + another 10 min to get to Baixa, Alfama or Barrio Alto.
Staff at the reception was very helpful. as an example, i wanted to visit Evora and the lady check the bus schedules, ticket prices and also told me how i can reach the Sete Rios station to take the bus from there.
may be the variety at breakfast could be improved.
Location. Also, the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.
The courtious staff
Very friendly and helpful staff; clean and comfortable room; I felt safe staying here alone; *excellent* location for visiting/working at the National Library and Gulbenkian Foundation
Somewhat distant from historic center of Lisbon (although this is easily accessible by metro or bus)
Reasonably cheap. Reasonable location. Friendly staff
Very impersonal - no athmosphere.
cleanliness, quiet area
the breakfast!! incomplete (no muesli...) doubt about the freshness of the little breads, 7.30am is far too late to start...the 2nd day I had an early meeting, I left without having breakfast...not good at all.
