“The decor and upkeep of the hotel was excellent in the common areas but a little tired and worn in the room. The staff were wonderful; attentive and courteous, however with only 1-2 people on duty at a time I found they were stretched when trying to service all customer requirements. Having one more person around would have made all the difference to the customer experience. Without doubt the breakfasts were the best I ever experienced in any hotel I have stayed in previously, the smell of warming croissants pervading the bedroom in the morning were the best alarm clock.”
