The desk staff was very polite and helpful the location to the centre off London was excellent.
The amount off stairs to get to the bedroom on the third and fourth floors but there is not a lot that can be done about this without a major overhaul.
Very friendly staff ,well localcated,
Found it a bit cold at time
The location to the Underground subway was convenient.
Omg there were so many things we didn't like about this hotel. First, there is construction in the front making it difficult to get into the very narrow road (only one car can drive in either direction); also finding the entrance was impossible. The parking was impossible; don't drive to this location. The staff was bordering on rude. The first room we were given had food under the bed spread. The second room had no heat; we slept in our clothes. Ironic is that there was a nice towel warmer in the bathroom so we had warm towels but were too cold to use the shower. Bring your best wool clothing. The breakfast person rushed us out of the dining room and was definitely rude. Don't be hungry if you stay here. The facilities were very shabby.
the proximity to railway station.quiet area.bed linen was changed daily, clean towels were also clean every day
room was very tired, wallpaper needed replacing some of it was already off the walls.bathroom had lots of mould this could have been removed very easily with a good clean.staff took far too long in answering the front door, the first time they took so long that we were actually worried that the place was closed and they hadnt informed us.
Great location, friendly staff, smooth service, spacey rooms, quiet (our room was towards the inner yard, our friends room was towards the street and they told it was a bit noisey but not disturbing), ok bathroom. Ok breakfast (trad english w/ toast, egg (all sorts) bacon, beans + muesli/cerials and orange juice + tee/coffee), not too early as someone stated - personal opinion, naturally.
Someone may find the stairs a bit narrow and hard (no lift) to carry the luggage. Not a problem for us. Not "extremely" tidy, but no complaints from us.
Location close to public transport, shops and restaurants. Relaxed attitude by staff.
Poorness of the room
Nice and clean. Liked the wooden floors in the room - makes it feel cleaner than thick old carpet.
Would like a radio in the room.
location, good bed, clean room, mostly good staff.
breakfast was minimal and tasteless in a room too small for the number of guests. So-called lounge was a postage stamp in receprion area. Stairs to third floor were difficult.
It was close to where I needed to be.
Outrageously expensive for what it was.
