Pros (+) At first glance we thought Adelas was in perfect location! 5 minute walk from PeruRail station and the Machu Picchu bus stop. The room was comfortable for the price. Clean sheets and towels.
Cons (-) Our room was faced the railroad tracks so as we tried to rest early for our Machu Picchu trek we would hear a loud train speed by and honk an extremely loud horn. The last train passed around 11:30pm... We were in bed at 9pm and could not sleep. It would be nice if the hotel offered ear plugs to help guests sleep.
Pros (+) Enjoyed staying here. Loved the hot shower!! My friend and I were very happy about that. Our host was incredibly sweet and helpful with whatever we needed. Room was very clean. It was convienently located - 4 min from the train station and about 5 min to the Machu Picchu bus stop.
Cons (-) I guess the downside would be we had the side where the train passes through, so it was loud. However, it didn't really both us and after Machu Picchu, we completely knocked out. The other side is the river and maybe would've been more quiet? The one thing that did really bother us is after we got our laundry done from them (they take it to another place), was that we had some pinkish/reddish mark...

Pros (+) View was amazing and we liked the food on site for the great deal. They accommodated our early departure to include our breakfast. Would definitely recommend.
