The TownePlace Suites by Marriott is Macon's award winning extended-stay hotel located near Mercer University and minutes from our revived Downtown area. The hotel is adjacent to the Mercer University campus and minutes from Interstate 75. When visiting Mercer University for parents weekend, graduation, homecoming or sporting events, relax and feel at home with a fully equipped kitchen and high speed Internet access. The studio and one bedroom suites were thoughtfully designed to provide flexible space that is comfortable for living, efficient for working and convenient for playing. The Marriott quality amenities and the hotel's convenient location and 24/7 service give the TownePlace Suites' guests everything they need for a comfortable and satisfying hotel experience whether they are staying for three nights or 300. Pros (+) Clean, fresh, easy, breakfast, hot coffee. Vibrant location around Mercer University. Friendly!
Cons (-) Bed linens were not as soft as I'd like but that's something you pay high dollar for at a 5 star. Even though this is not technically a "5 star", it sure is close.
