The pension was clean, simple, and located on a pedestrian lane close to everything. No bells or whistles but if you are out all day and need a place to sleep, this fits the bill.
The walls were a bit thin and the building is undergoing major renovations so work started at 8:00 and continued until 18:00. There was a lot of dust, banging, and workers in the hallways and on the stairs. This would have been more tolerable if we had know about it. The clerk isn't sure when the work will be done so be prepared to stay out all day. Look for the lift on the left opposite the stairs. We would consider staying there again now that we know what to expect.

Perfect location in the centre of Malaga. Bit difficult to find. Route description provided through booking.com brought me to Hostal La Palma at the other side of the block. A friendly lady from this hostal guided me to Hostal Juanita. Very good value for money.
A bit noisy.

very close to the city center. just steps to the restaurant, sightseeing, and main street and see. possible walk to the railway station, ca. 30 min.
