We wrote the hotel in advance to let them know that we have a service dog. We have brought a service animal in the past and have all of the paperwork. I also sent many emails asking if our two booked rooms could be adjoining and they kept responding they couldn't guarantee that (ridiculous since the adjoining room is for a 10 year old, I don't want a room across the hotel for him- why can this not be reserved in advance?) We arrived the night before our flight and were turned away- they said the hotel does not allow service animals and they would not make an exception even though the dog has stayed there before. They told me I would not be charged for the rooms and I have an email from them confirming this - but now I'm getting emails from them that they are having trouble charging our credit card for the rooms. This added so much stress to our trip in general and now I'm having to deal with not wanting to be charged for the hotel rooms. I'm really not happy with the lack of proper communication by this hotel and these mix ups with saying they wouldn't charge us and now they're trying to charge us anyway. I hope that the hotel reads this, please read your emails and notify guests in advance if their requests cannot be met so they have time to make alternate arrangements- you are an airport hotel and this is proper business practice.
