A well-run hotel with absolutely top-notch, helpful, efficient and all-round professional staff. Location was great, literally steps from a wonderful trail running right beside the river. A few steps upstream is Bore Park, perfect spot for viewing the tidal bore. I’d stay in this hotel again in a heartbeat.

Pros (+) Great quality bed and solid sleep. Nice outdoor pool and good staff.
Cons (-) The room smelled of musty dank carpet. Had to keep the window open.

Pros (+) Location, staff are excellent, good breakfast.
Cons (-) 1st room.had a strong musty smell. If you have allergies, do not stay at this hotel. The smell was so strong that we had to ask to be moved. Worst sinus flare up in my life caused by 1st room.
