Can the hotel have actual signs so it does not take 2 hours to locate it once you ar in Montepulciano. Also bathroom, specifically the shower needs to be updated.

This is a charming bed & breakfast that completely lives up to its description. Our room was very big and so was the bathroom. It had some very nice individual touches as well. We loved the view of Montepulciano, and we loved the peace and quiet after a busy day of sight-seeing.

If you understand the principles of environmental sustainment and friendliness you will be happy here. The comfort is excellent but the amenities are not what you may expect at a similarly priced hotel, which this is not. The owners and staff are wonderful and their commitment to ecological and organiv principles are exemplary. Plus, the farm to table breakfasts (and dinners on request) are excellent.
Although you can walk, it is doubtful you will - especially at night after dinner. The city is quite a hike uphill. Parking is easy and close by, though and made it simple to get in and out. There is no air conditioning (for environmental reasons?) whicj would have been a huge problem for me if it was hot.

We stayed for one night at the end of May 2010. Really beautiful lodging, simple yet elegant, friendly people, a place with 'character'. Fantastic gardens, flowers and greenery surrounding all buldings, very nice views towards Montepulciano. The concept of natural and ecological living is conveyed in a charming way. The only people for whom this hotel would probably not be fit would be those valuing comforts in the room such as mini-fridge, television and telephone, as such facilities do not come with the package. Apart from this, the hotel is lovely and recommendable in every way.

All our products are selected for their capacity to make the stay unique and invigorating, and allow you to rediscover the excellence in the things of every day.
Four large guest-rooms, all decorated by Karin, occupy the upper floors of the eighteenths-century villa with a 180° on the Val di Chiana and the historical town of Montepulciano. In the guesthouse, breakfast is served with organic products sourced or farmed locally – the five-hectare farm counts olive oil, fresh vegetables and fruits among its produce.
From sleeping to eating, to the quality of furnishings and garden care, everything is designed to allow the mind and body to regain their balance and calm.

“When stepping in the fattoria, the pressure, the stress felt down. Our stay was the best during our Italian trip with staff making feel like family, delicious food, views to meditate on. Swimming pool is really and past the first hesitations to jump amongst the lotus, then it feels like you are connecting back to nature again. A few km only to the town of Montepulciano, the agriturismo has a view on it and the valleys behind it. Vegetarian food was fresh and excellent and lots of option around for the meat lovers. We will come back!”
