The room is very clean. The equipment in bath room is quite new. You can park your car in basement.
The reception desk is closed at 19:00~20:00. Even though you can check in via telephone. It is not convenient for the foreign person who arrives at night.
The beds was not confortable. Is not a hotel, is more an apartments building. Far from the city center.
A large room with comfortable beds. Clean and quiet. Located out of the city centre but only a short train ride away, which makes it very affordable.
My only complaint is that wi-fi was cut off befoe we checked out which made it difficult for some last minute plans but then again, it's free...which hasn't been the norm on this trip.
its proximity to public transportation (U-Bahn)
it is very spartanic but functional. The Chiemgaustrasse on which the hotel is located is probably one of the busiest streets, day and night, and if you get a room on that side it is noisy even with the windows closed. If you were to open them you wouldn´t be able to hear your own words. I don´t know how one can manage during the hot summer months, particularly since the curtains are no sun blockers.
The receptionist was very nice, friendly and helpful. She answered all our questions and helped us with directions and other usefull informations. The room we stayed in was clean, and so was the bathroom. We liked the gesture of having little packs of Haribo waiting for us on the pillows when we checked-in :)
The only thing we like about this place is the price and there were free parking behind.
There were leftover clothings in the cupboard. Our bath towels were never changed during our entire 3 nights stay. The heater in the bathroom was not operative and the bathroom floor could not be dried.
Friendly staff, accessible location, safe area and clean (my room had been recently renovated). Good basic accommodation for an independent traveller.
A wee bit expensive based on the size of the room, but not surprised since this was during Oktoberfest. I'm assuming the basic room rate is otherwise quite a bit cheaper.
the room was very spacious compared to most European hotels.
it was in a very residental neighborhood.
Large room - clean - close to subway stop - very curtious staff - felt like a nice a safe neighborhood.
No 24 hour front desk and no locked door at night, anyone off the street could walk in at night without being noticed. This was stated in advance so I knew ahead of time and the neighborhood did feel safe, but I did not particularly like this aspect.
