Distance to city center
Big, spacious room. Biergarten. Children play area, visible from the tables outside (so good for families). Good food, and relaxed atmosphere. Everything was clean. Would definitely book there again.
We decided to visit Munich but did not want to drive through the city . This was a perfect place set in the suburbs with only a few minutes walk to the station and a cheap fare into the city. The hotel was excellent being a small family run hotel/restaurant set very close to the countryside. We paid the additional money for a suite and it was well worth it as the room was unusual, large and decorated with original panelling. The food and drink served in the hotel restaurant was tasty and the atmosphere was friendly. All in all to be recommended
We picked this hotel as it was only about 8 miles from Dachau where we had been visiting the camp there. It is a traditional German guesthouse with a large restaurant inside and biergarten. The room was just what we were looking for and was spotlessly clean. Although it was over 30 degrees and there was no air con in the room we still slept soundly and did not find the room too warm. The staff were all very friendly even the ones with limited English which was a great relief as our German is not too good. The menu was all in German so I had to make a quick discreet phone call home to my sister in law who is German to help us out. We found it to be a very comfy overnight stay with excellent food and really enjoyed the atmosphere throughout.
this hotel has excellent outdoor restauraut, but this is only shiny point, nothing more.
small room, poor quality, un-comformtable everywhere inside room. you got nowhere to sit when you watch tv. feeling very bad during staying with it.
It was close to the job i was working the room was clean with a good on suite. Food and drink was good.
Staff could be more freindly
It was a wonderful experience, the dinner and breakfast was great and the staff was so friendly and helpful.
Very nice place with fantastic food, and what is important - free internet access.
If you like a real bavarian atmosphere close to the center of Munich with a personal touch it's a real nice place to stay. They have a very pleasant "Biergarten" in the summer with good food a real good ambiente. You can reach the whole Munich area by S-Bahn with a station that is only about 300 meters from the Hotel.
The food was really good and the staff extremely friendly and helpful!good place to stay.
The reception area is very poorly located -my room was right there at the reception and it could get noisy at times
We enjoyed our stay very much and the rooms were very nice. Our meals in the restaurant were very good. We especially liked the strawberries and sekt - delicious! There was was a nice big breakfast. It was raining so we were disappointed we couldn't enjoy the beer garden as it looked like so much fun. Maybe next time! We would stay here again.
