Great Money Value
The staff, breakfast and a fine meal from the restaurant.
Not worth it.
Clean. Safe location.
Walls were thing and noise traveled throughout the hotel and halls. I'm not sure if all Munich hotels are like this but the amenities were lacking: no washcloth, conditioner, complementary tea or coffee, etc. Our shower head and heater were both broken and we asked that they be fixed - neither were. It is inconvenient to get to Munich and there are very few options for shopping and eating nearby. It is quite a walk from the trains. I also stayed during Oktoberfest and though I am not sure what the rate usually is, it was not worth the money during this time.It certainly did not feel like a 4 star hotel.
The staff was extraordinarily friendly. The room was nice. No complaints about the hotel itself, for the most part. Good wifi.
The location was so-so, about a km walk to the nearest S-bahn. However, we booked the room in the middle of Oktoberfest less than a week ahead of time, so it was better than what else was available. As other reviewers mentioned, the 21€ breakfast is not worth the money. We didn't notice until we were done eating that there was a little note on the table encouraging diners to order food to order, which might have made a difference? The cafe at Freidrich-Eckart Strasse and Daglfinger Strasse was a much better option.
proximity to the Munchen Messe
Staff was not friendly, the room has ugly carpets, not a good value for what you pay.
