Pros (+) The Hotel Nagano was close to Nagano Station and provided an extremely convenient spot for the price. I needed a last-minute place to stay since my AirBnB booking in Tokyo fell through. It was walking distance to the Zenkoji Temple. The staff were extremely generous and kind, even though there was a bit of a language barrier. I would definitely go again. Clean rooms, too. :)
