Great staff. Extremely welcoming for France. Ill be back
Extremely helpful staff. Room was clean and comfortable with good AC.
Walls are thin, so noise from outside and inside. Bathroom light comes on automatically and stays on for a while- bothersome at night.
The location of the hotel is amazing. Literally a 2min walk to the beach, and a 5-10min walk to the shops and many restaurants. Also only a 10-15min walk from the station (with packs on). The staff were incredibly friendly, all spoke english and were all willing to help us out with whatever we needed- which we really appreciated. The room itself had a fan to help with the heat (which it really did) and double glazed windows to help with the 'night noise', again, which really helped. The linen was clean and the rooms made up each day. Also very safe entry, as you need a security code to get in. Free internet access (including wifi in rooms as well as public computers) made a real difference as well. We enjoyed our stay.
I'm a bit of a 'stickler' when it comes to cleanliness, so perhaps other readers won't be as picky as me, but the bathroom could have done with a good scrub. It was clean enough & the towels were fresh, but the bottom of the shower curtain looked like it was going mouldy- from excess steam/water. (A small fan in there might help). The carpet looked a little grubby & could use replacing- and the windows needed a clean. The kitchenette probably was able to be used- but we didn't trust it, plus the fridge wasn't working- so don't bank on it being there to save cash on food. But nothing major really. Still totally fine, and I would still recommend the hotel to those that aren't very picky. I have stayed in better hotels for less $$ though.
The staff could not have been more friendly and welcoming. There was a relaxed atmosphere.
The lift was out of service, which was a problem for those travelling with suitcases. The decor was "tired" and the corridors were cluttered. The lounge was tiny and very cramped.
Friendly and english-speaking staff(s);
Only one power-point for electrical appliances (I can either only watch TV or use the fan at any single time) hence its very frustrating.
Good location (2 minutes from Promenade des Anglais and 10 minutes from Old Town), comfortable bed, good-size room with nice little balcony, internet facilities, friendly staff.
We specifically chose this hotel for the kitchennette, but it was very poorly equipped (not even a kettle or jug) , and the refrigerator did not work - I don't think it has for some time. In the shower, the bar that holds the shower-head was missing, so it was hand-held only. (We checked the room next door, and both refrigerator and shower were fine). Credit card facilities were not working, and had apparently been out of action for 2 weeks (Believable?) so we had to pay cash.
close to the beach. have large balcony
room carpet was dirty
Close to the beach
The hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment. We did not know beforehand that they want payment in cash either. Bedroom furniture and bathroom fittings in a deplorable state.
It was nice that the staff could speak english
