The location is decent. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. The grounds out back were beautiful.
The bed has seen better days. The hotel is tired. It has been updated, but oddly it wasn't completed. The doors to the rooms look horrendous, which is your first impression. The bathroom is awkward and tight. The room itself is pretty and has been mostly updated, but the beds/pillows need a serious upgrade.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the garden area where wehadbreakfast. Just watch out for the seagulls. My room was very nice and very quiet. I would like to have stayed longer at this location but it was already fully booked
The little things that count like tea and coffee in the room, a towel warmer, a really nice shower, pastries and coffee in the afternoon (free), foreign and local newspapers, a computer (free), friendly staff, loan of umbrellas, convenient location--all added to the quality of the stay.
We were upgraded to a larger room because the initial room had a suboptimal wifi signal. Both rooms are nice as they are facing the garden, and are quiet.
The rooms look tired and require renovation.
charming hotel and room to the garden. clean room. comfortable bed
even the room to the garden was a little noisy
Afternoon coffee and rolls was nice.
Street side of hotel is too noisy. Prospective guests need to understand that. I wouldn't pay this much again for such a noisy setting. Breakfast is far too expensive.
The staff were very helpful and welcoming throughout my stay. Reception arranged for an emergency wheel-chair for me within hours of the request.Excellent breakfast and service.
Had no problems.
The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and refreshingly 'unstuffy' for hotel staff. The garden was peaceful and tranquil and our room was lovely. The hotel was also ideally situated - near the beach, restaurants and the train station.
The breakfast at the hotel (15 E) was far to much

The staff was kind enough to endure my sophomoric attempts to speak French. They, in fact, spoke numerous languages fluently. Over a four-day stay, they helped arrange our scooter rentals (do explore the beaches and villages east of Nice!) and made excellent recommendations for day trips. The location was just a few blocks from the Nice beaches - a pleasurable walk through the nooks and crannies of the city.
I rated the room "good" rather than excellent because of the deferred maintenance on the garden side of the hotel. The rooms were clean but a bit shabby.
Close to shopping, restaurants etc. pleasant staff. Daily room cleaning.
Building work on the building right beside our bedroom that started early morning, incl. Weekend. I believe car parking should be free.
