Golden Gables was a decent hotel. Fantastic staff, clean, and a great location close to the places you want to be. The gripe I have has to do more with the condition of the hotel itself. Door locks were very difficult to use, no real amenities, and rooms that are from a bygone era. While prices were good, there’s little value here unless all you’re looking for is a place to sleep.

Pros (+) I am always worried about the hotel room not being as nice as I expect but once I opened the door I was very happy with everything. Our king size room was cozy, clean, and really nice! Worth every penny.
Cons (-) I wish there was an indoor pool, but I plan to come back and try the inn out in the summer since they have the outdoor pool. I hope the prices don’t increase like crazy in the summer season though.
