The rooms were cozy, the view of the water was amazing. We did kayaking right on site. Also the staff at front desk was super informative and sweet.
The only thing i didnt like was that noise travels easily through walls at night.

Gross, but staff was friendly and refunded me
I liked that they were very friendly at the office, and gladly refunded my money. So even though my stay was not pleasant, they were good business owners in being cordial about the situation, and offered to give me price break if I gave them another chance. Their taking accountability of the situation made a bad situation much better, which did make me think they had integrity. THis place is good for people on a budget who like rustic/camping type places and don't mind it kinda rough around the edges.
Room was dirty, and they did NOT FLUSH THE LINES OUT from ANTI-FREEZE from winterizing their motel, before issuing me my room. This plus the overall room non-cleanliness had me running out of there the next morning. They DID refund me with NO PROBLEM, and DID OFFER to give me a price break if I was willing to come back and try them another time. I doubt I will, but just the offer softened the situation, which was greatly appreciated. And it was a non-hassle to get my pre-paid money back for the other days I was scheduled to stay. The place is good for families or people who like "campground" style, rustic accommodations. It's bare bones at best. But good enough if you won't be there much on a budget.

Pleasant grounds; close to Ocean City beach via bridge; beach area accessible via Park & Ride shuttle that stops a mile or so from the motel.
Kayak and canoe rentals are advertised, but hours of availability are limited by tides, and the person who handles the rentals can be difficult to contact. During a 3-day stay, we were unable to arrange a rental. Room cramped, but adequate as a place to sleep while visiting the area.
