Relaxed stay

Nice location with view to ocean and blue churches form main terrace. Here you can find two whirlpools usable for all hotel guests. Rooms are all different. Some do have windows and a balcony, some are traditionally inside the rock and for some you just have to cross the small walking way to a dedicated terrace. We did like it. Breakfast wasn't offered due to Covid 19 which was ok for us, there are Cafes around the corner.

View was nice. Room in general ok, but bad quality for the price.

We were informed upon arrival that our hot tub was indoor, which we didn't mind. We were told because of a power shortage in the hotel (4 that day) that hot tub was not working, water in the tub was cold. We asked the reception in the morning to at least fix it the following night. Reception said they were aware of the problem. Spent another night with a freezing cold hottub, we could not use. Complained again and were finally moved on day two of our four- day- stay to another hotel. All in all we had the impression that the hottub in this room never works and guests are just moved if there is another room available in the partner hotel. Staff handled the situation very unprofessionally and did not seem to mind that we did not have warm water. Stay clear!

Incredible stay!

This was probably one of the best stays we've ever had. The views are unbeatable and the pool and hot tub are amazing!! Mario was also very helpful with recommendations about food and drinks! Everyone should experience a stay like this once in their lifetime ;-).

Really nice stay for the...

Everything was perfect. The view was really beautiful. We arrived at midnight and a staff member came to greet us and give us the keys. Very nice and helpfull. He helped us with the lugage too. The location is perfect and close to everything.

The smell of cats. I love cats and they were really cute. Unfortunately, they smell but you somehow forget about it fast. You can't really do anything about it since you live so central.

A special apartment for a...

It's a cosy little apartment with cave character. Therefore it had a special feel to it. The rooms were tidy and its location close to the view point of the beautiful Oia sunset made it even more recommandable.

The bathroom door couldn't be locked, so I had to put the little bin in front of it to prevent it from opening while I'm on the toilet. I was supposed to pick up the key in the Red Bicycle Bar. Unfortunately, it was closed. But one phone call later a guy from the Prime Suites popped by and showed us the way to our apartment.

Lack of bottle of water ( after walking time from a bus station to the hotel in a full sun exposure, would be a nice to have even one bottle of water which is a small gesture from owners but might change the entire experience from beginning for future guests )

Great location and fanatic view...

The Prime Suites apartments are based in a very convenient location with a fantastic volcano view and just 1-2 minutes walk to the main street with variety of shops and restaurants, staff are very friendly and very helpful. The breath taken view in the morning will make the most of it!

A complimentary bottle of water would be much appreciated for the late check in when the shops are closed.

Incredible hotel on the side of the cliff. Stunning views, and two hot tubs to relax in. Great location on the cliff side right next to some great restaurants (Meteor!). Marius, who checked us in, was really helpful and arranged a hire car and helped carry our bags up the stairs.

This provided the classic "Oia"...

Mario the manager was wonderful - very helpful and just a lovely guy. The temperature in the cave room was perfect and it was very quiet. The pool was beautiful and the views were amazing. I would go back.

To get to our room you had to go down some tricky stairs which may be harder for older guests. Also if it was busy I would imagine that you would have to queue to use the two small pools.

We stayed at prime suites for our 5 year wedding anniversary and stayed in one of the honeymoon suites. The room was an excellent size and extremely clean with great air conditioning. The bathroom was a nice size and the shower was great. The hot tub worked as expected and the staff (specifically Mario) was great at helping coordinate a shuttle and other questions we had for him during our stay. The view is incredible of the Caldera and of the cliff. Also the location is great in Oia with multiple restaurants and shops available close by.

Breakfast is not an option, which in my opinion is not a big deal. We originally were to stay in a normal room and the room was pretty low on the cliff and not very well lit to get to it, so I can see that being problematic for some people. Also the normal room did not have a coffee maker or other amenities the honeymoon suite had. We asked for an upgrade (and paid for the upgrade) to the honeymoon suite which exceeded my expectations and I thought was a great value for the cost.

The location is unbeatable, the views are great, being able to take a bath in the tub with these views during the day (and night) was awesome. Our contact was awesome helping us with our luggage during checkin and checkout.

We expected to have a room with an outside balcony. However we got a traditional cave house with no windows so ventilation and humidity can be an issue during hot days. (The room had AC, btw). The photos did not correspond to the room we got. We did like the room because it was a traditional cave house but how its advertised it was very misleading.

There are ants and flies in the room, which is quite annoying. We needed to wait for 20 minutes for check out since there’s no one at the reception at the latest check out time (11AM).

The view is nice.

First of all, the room was newly painted and not being well ventilated so the paint smell is very strong and we had to the windows opened all the time, there were construction sounds from the morning time 7 am till evening 4 pm. We couldn’t sleep well at all. There were no basic amenities in the such as slipper, bathrobes, iron etc. The way to the room is very very very tiring there was an endless stairway that is dangerous and very steep and it was covered by donkeys remains as they were interrupting and the blocking way to the room. Horrible experience at this hotel I would recommend to look somewhere else.

Firstly, you should be aware that rooms depicted on booking.com are not necessarily the one you'll get. Eg. we were expecting a table but did not get one We had Room 17 which has a separate balcony not connected to room. Door to the apartment opened on to the walkway and a white wall - no view. Room was dirty on arrival - cleaning was called to sort out the room and we were not told once they were finished cleaning. Wine glasses were left over from previous guests and were filthy. Batteries for A/C remote were dead. Shower became a swimming pool as it did not drain properly. For the price you pay you expect a certain standard. Unfortunately the attention the detail is lacking for what should have been a wonderful stay over New Year.

The location of the the rooms, cut into the cliff were amazing. The sunsets were gorgeous. The bed was comfortable and the living room was spacious. We enjoyed sitting out on our shared outdoor space.

One day it rained and our room flooded. The staff got the water out and it was clear that they had done this before. We wouldn't have minded a warning to not leave things on the floor. Our suitcase, spare shoes, laundry, and a few computer cords were soaked. The hotel said it would cost 16 euros to wash the dirty laundry made filthy from the flooding. The bathroom drain also had things floating up in it which they cleaned once I pointed it out.

Too many uneven steps to climb especially if we wanted to step out more than once. Wouldn’t suggest anyone to take a room down. Very difficult to commute. This needs to be mentioned in the description of the property.

Almost at one end of the main street, the location is fantastic. Our room was very pretty and cozy. The jacuzzi was hot and clean.

There was no breakfast, only coffee. The first morning there were people working on our terrace, and the noise they were making woke us up. When they left, there was no power in the room. Also, we agreed they would come get our bags at a certain time the day we left. I had to go find them and they finally came by the time the transfer was supposed to pick us up. One downside of the honeymoon suite is that the stairs to all the other rooms goes right by the terrace, so there's little privacy.

Beautiful views from the balcony of the room and the common area. Good location for exploring Oia, with a short trek to get up and down to/from Oia streets (a few narrow steps).

Stayed at the bottom-most property, and the bushes and debris on the edge of the property smelled bad to the point that we couldn’t enjoy sitting outside and taking in the views, which was the main selling point for the property. Would have been much nicer at one of the other rooms above us.

Location of this hotel is great, close to everything. Beautiful rooms with Santorini specific design. The view from the balcony is spectacular, we couldn't ask more. The jacuzzi and little pool area is very inviting and I really enjoyed. The staff members are so professional, friendly and helpful, especially Madalin who was so brave to carry our luggage on so many steps. I really recommend this hotel, we had a lovely experience there.

Prefect location with Aegean seaview. The Caldera View is stunning and breathtaking. The staff is very friendly by carrying our luggage to the car park. Our first experience to stay in the Cave Hotel is just unforgettable. Walking distance to Kastro and Pelekanos restaurant for breathtaking sunset view. Definitely will return and recommend to all. The people were rude in general, check in wasn't that bad , but later was only one person at the front desk reception area we had to wait to make a reservations for an activity that was a waist of our time. Maids didn't speak english and was hard to communicate on when u wanted the room to be cleaned. I got sick and i wanted to change sheets so i could sleep in fresh clean sheets they say they couldn't do it. the enter the room when i didn't want them to clean yet all they did was made bed and sweep.

El agua caliente para la ducha era escasa. Solo permitia una ducha "standard" de una persona. Si dos querian ducharse, debian hacerlo en diferente horario. El wifi no era accesible desde dentro de las habitaciones, pero este problema intuyo no es de facil resolucion, debido a la geografia del lugar.
