This is the best all around hotel in Omaha. The location cannot be beat--especially if you are traveling with a dog. It is adjacent to a large park and there are numerous restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are spacious and most or all have a full kitchen.
The AC was not working in our room, but we were moved promptly. One front desk person was a bit rude--the others were super.
Check in was supposed to be at 3pm. We got there at 3:45 or so and they said our room wasn't ready yet, it would be "a couple minutes." So we decided to just go have a drink at one of the bars nearby. We came back at 5:15 and our room still wasn't ready. We again were told "a couple minutes." We waited in the hotel lobby until 5:30 and then decided to go get a bite to eat because we didn't know how long it would be before the room was ready. We got back to the hotel around 6:30 and finally the room was ready for us. I understand if guests don't check out on time or if you are short staffed, but please be honest about the amount of time it will take to get the room ready. I would have been extremely upset if we had waited around the hotel for 3 hours because you kept telling us it would be "a couple minutes."
Friendly staff, good location, room decor is nice and well planned.
The room and the bath could use more cleaning. Mold was growing in the shower.
Location is great, breakfast, staff, comfort, facilites are great.
We had NO control over the room temperature; why bother including an interface in the room if it doesn't respond? We were cold enough to need jackets at all times in the room. Also breakfast could be earlier, 6am would be much better than having to wait until 7am.

Nice location and the room itself was great! I don't remember the last time I was in a hotel with a full kitchen and even a stove within the room.... Would definitely recommend this place again
Friendly staff. Comfortable bed.
Right off of the main road so the noise from the traffic was pretty bad
My schedule didn't allow us to stay longer
clean, quiet, easy to find
wish breakfast was earlier. it was part of the reason that i chose the hotel, but wasn't offered before 7:00 a.m. and our event that brought us to town required us to leave at 6:30 a.m.
Love this concept hotel!
We absolutely love this hotel, the concept, and convenience of both the location and the ability to get whatever we needed at either the small hotel market, the attached grocery store and/or delicious food delivery. Wish there were more of these hotels!
Paid parking, the breakfast could easily be improved with more fresh selection, our HVAC didn't work real well.
Love Element, but this location was a tad lacking.
- Great room layout & amenities - Free breakfast - Excellent location - Comfortable bed
- Passive-aggressive staff - Cleanliness of room not nearly to par with other Element/Westin properties we frequent - Worthless HVAC system...room was 80F+ our entire stay, forcing us to keep windows open in 20F weather
Love the location--it was great to be able to walk to the quality restaurants nearby.
The hotel was a great value for the money. Very nice rooms and great variety for continental breakfast, both hot and cold, during our stay
