I think it is not the best place for city trip, but I can not say anything bad about this hotel. The staff was very kind, the room is clean. There are a good bistro near hotel, where we can have our breakfast.

The hotel was smart and clean and reasonably quiet (for Paris). It was conveniently located for access to the Metro and Gard du Nord. The staff were friendly and helpful.

the quality of the bed was okay
we asked for a non-smoking room but got a room that was clearly a smoking room (with cigarette smoking entering the room from next door). also, staff advise was poor - they really can't tell a good restaurant apart from a bad kebab place.
