Proximity to metro station, nice residential neighbourhood, extremely nice hotel staff
There was a relaxed atmosphere and staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed having good local metro links and the good local restaurants.
We had tea in our room on three occasions. On two of them it was awful. Please, for British guests at least, use English breakfast tea (black) unless otherwise requested - never Eaaarl Grey - and give staff some training in how to make it properly. Ideally you should use boiling water poured directly over the teabag, not warm water into which the teabag has to be dunked. Milk should be cold and not too much of it, Or let guests make their own.
Internet access. Everytime the wireless access point was unaccessible: so I had to ask them to reset it all the time. They should buy a better quality device. Guests that choose having hotel with internet is because they need to use internet.
Convenience to Metro, retaurants, knowledgable and courteous staff
No free internet, morning coffee could be hotter, room facing street a little noisy. No problem in winter with closed windows, but in summer there is no a/c.
Room is good based on the price. to Bastille square, about 5 minutes by bus#76 around the corner and 30 minutes by walk, we can take sightseeing bus at Bastille square. Breakfast is Ok. Many good restaurants around.
Location, breakfast, value-for-money
The safe in my room was permanently locked and could not be used. I asked a couple of times to get it opened but it never happened.
Staff speaks English, Car park in basement is really good and cheap!
Breakfast is a little sober (but typical for France I guess)
person speaks english and very helpful
We have tried a number of hotels of this class in the area - this was by far the best we have found and we will be back.
I was scared of the car lift!!!! (Joke!) But secure parking was great, thank you.
