If you have never been to Paris and from America it is not for you. Small boutique hotel with great location. Stayed only three days. Friday night no sleep from people loud from partying until 5am. Thin walls, but thankfully my neighbors went out while I stayed in to rest after a non direct flight across the pond. Staff nice, but the night manager wanted to join me to my room one night when I came in. In all honesty, I know I look okay if I didn't gain 70lbs.
Location is the best for the price.
Corridors were very narrow.
The location is perfect; almost everything is within easy walking distance, and the walks are all superb. The Seine is a block away, the Louvre and Notre Dame are each a pleasant a five-minute walk. For the Eiffel Tower or Montmartre, the entrance to the metro is literally a few feet away. There are a grocery store and a brasserie right next door, and a wonderful bakery on the next block. The price is excellent, the room is clean, and the bathtub is deep with plenty of hot water. Free internet is nice.
The noise at night is significant, even with the window closed. It does continue all night. There is a shower attachment to the tub but no shower curtain, but this is not a problem if you sit down to use it. There was only one power outlet in our room.
Clean and comfortable and incredibly convenient, being right next to a metro line which goes to Gare du Nord and in an excellent mixed area
Small room, but does what it says on the tin. A second chair would have been welcome
Close to attractions. Latin Quarter, Notre Dame, Jewish Ghetto. Good value for price.
Did not like seeing people urinating from my hotel room.
