Best hotel staff ever encountered
I can honestly say that the staff at this hotel were the best I have ever met. Every one of them was friendly and helpful and after two nights it felt like we were leaving friends behind. Thank you to you all The hotel itself was very nice, clean and tidy. The breakfast room and outdoor area are lovely and the breakfast itself was a great mix of anything and everything you could wish for all cooked very well
Being very picky.... the rooms are quite small and the bed was very firm.

absolutely nothing
the staff, the cheap, tacky interior, the filthyness, the rude staff constantly smoking .. the loud noisy contruction all through the night, the paper thin walls to here the lowlifes staying in the area fight, the constant sounds of sirens and distress calls.. did i mention the rude staff. the bugs and spiders in the bathroom, the lazy housekeeping service.. the stink of musty furniture throughout the place. i wouldnt even consider the food after seeing the filthy environment
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The spa room was unfinished and the ceiling had fallen through. Wires were hanging from the ceiling onto the wet spa room floor, Very dangerous. Rubble was left on the floor from the ceiling collapse which was very unhygienic and dangerous. We were bitten by bed bugs also. Disgusting.
Great stay at Hotel Mademoiselle!
The hotel room was on the small side but very well equipped for the price! We especially enjoyed the multi-room speaker system with headphone jack plug that we used with our iPhone to play music, the rain shower with great water pressure, the windows that overlooked the courtyard that opened all the way up with a great breeze, the big closet that fit all our bags and clothes for our long trip, the mostly friendly staff that understood English well. The proximity to the metro stations was nice but we found Rue Magenta to be very sketchy with a lot of vagrants, loiterers and gypsy beggars.
We did not have a good experience with one of the night guards, we asked him to call us a taxi but when it was taking too long to arrive and we changed our minds he got very mad and almost began yelling at us. We had a dinner reservation to make on time and would have missed it if we waited for his cab to arrive. That's not the proper way to treat a guest at your hotel. Also the "spa" was disappointing, there was no privacy and other guests were walking in and out during our reservation time, including hotel staff interrupting the water bed massage midway asking if we had made an appointment. Yes we did make an appointment, please check your books instead of interrupting! So that experience was completely ruined.
Excellent experience
Very clean and contemporary style. Very nice and professional hotel staff. Free coffee, tea, croissant, and free use of umbrellas. Room was not large, but plenty of space for a 4 night stay with 2 people. Great location. Exceeded our expectations in every way.
Good hotel. Would go back. Convenient location (close to train stations and metro). Nice breakfast. Comfy and clean rooms. Nice staff. Private sauna
Clean, Comfortable, & Central
We ended up at a Hotel Mademoiselle due to our Airbnb falling through. This turned out to be much better. Friendly staff, central location, and clean cozy rooms.
The area is a bit dirty and dodgy at night, BUT as long as you're aware of your surroundings you'll be fine.
Clean but far
The room was absolutely clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great but not included. Staff were nice. The "big bus" tour and train station are walking distance.
It was far from all historic places that we wanted to see and go in Paris so we had to take a bus or train at day time and taxi at night since I didn't feel safe walking in that area. If you are staying for few days I suggest to get a hotel close to area you are planning to vist but if you are planing to stay for a week or more this is a good place if you don't mind paying for taxi at night!
Lobby isn't much to speak of.. But the rooms and s
We needed a place for 1 night stopping through Paris, on the way to London next day via eurostar. The room was small but not by Paris standards. The bed and shower were perfect. The staff was super helpful and nice. For the money it was the perfect place to crash for the night.
lovely surprise near gare du nord
Staff, room
The suite was amazing, the standard room a bit small
Hidden gem
Parisian style with value for money
There was no hot water on one of the mornings and the weather was freezing. Impossible to shower. Breakfast was simple, just bread and coffee. Room key cards were faulty. Lifts only reached till level 5 and had to climb stairs up to level 6
Excellent location (Gare du Nord), still quiet. Helpful staff.
Ceiling corners could have been vacuumed more frequently. Hotel name is not displayed clearly.
Near the railway station Paris Nord and Paris Est, quiet street, good air-condition, tea pot on the room. Poor breakfast.
Paris Est Lafayette is a comfortable, good quality, reasonably priced, quiet and conveniently located hotel, only a five minutes walk from either the gare du Nord or the gare de l'Est. The rooms are equipped with a water kettle.
The tranquillity of the hotel.
short distance from railway station and very easy to find from the map provided
Location for our needs
Although our room was non smoking - it smelt of smoke and when we opened large windows there were piles of cigarett ends outside the window!
room quite small for a family.
The hotel is very central and within short distance from Metro, would definitely stay again.
Price
small room, old furniture, not clean towels, old carpet. Room below average of his category.
