a rotten egg smelll came from the drains and filled the room. sometimes were worse than others but it wasnt ideal

The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Cute boutique design. Metro stop is a 1 minute or less walk and the area is safe for walking around at night.
A week before we arrived their airconditioner got shut down by the city until further notice because neighbors complained of the noise. They have ventillation and loan you fans though. The rooms are extremely small like being on a cruise ship cabin but this is common in France.

Absolutely nothing, rude, the hotel is falling to pieces, sheets were disgustingly dirty, bathroom in a state of disgust. One of the worst hotels ever stayed in in Paris and should be really not be in your list at all. It caused me and my wife a traumatic important overnight in Paris.

staff were very friendly and chatty. location is excellent near republique.
safety is poor. the lift collapsed with 2 people seriously injured. toilet paper in bathroom placed on top of radiators posing a fire risk. the rooms need complete refurbishing ie repairs and painting.
