Extremely comfortable bed and convenient location
Small bathroom-even by European standards
A nice stay with one unfortunate customer service
The bed was comfortable and the room was pretty. We had a balcony on the fourth floor which was a nice touch. Also the shower is big for a European hotel.
The light switches are a complicated puzzle consisting of two main switches that must be turned on at all times in order for any other night and a couple of plugs to work. We found one of the main switches on the first night. Unfortunately, on the last night we returned from dinner to discover none of our lights would turn on. When we requested help from the front desk, a guy came up, tried a few switches and basically told us "sorry about your luck." The next day I addressed the situation with the front desk and that's when we discovered the OTHER main switch that has to be turned on at all times. So when I asked the lady at the desk why the man from last night didn't fix it, her response was "well, he's new." Not a great answer. We didn't even recieve an apology. A disappointing end to an otherwise pleasant stay. Hopefully they will train new employees better in the future.
For the price, I was impressed. Definitely a budget hotel, so don't expect luxury. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom has a lot of mirrors which was nice. The employees at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. TV in the room was nice to have in the evening.
The elevator was extremely slow and left me waiting for a long time and the street below my window was kind of noisy in the morning. The hotel location is not near the major Paris attractions so you have to spend a lot of time on the metro.
Nice French feeling hotel in good area - central but not too busy /noisy. Breakfast very good for small French hotel.
Location, cleaneless, kind girl on the reception (originating from Spain)
My credit card was charges after booking on Booking.com but in the hotel that was not approved and I was forced to pay the price of my whole stay in cash. They explained that their system/machine for processing credit cards was out of work.
Hotel located in an ideal position, and spotlessly clean. Small room typical of France. Staff very friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast appeared initially a tad expensive however was fantastic. An excellent small hotel to which I would return.
Not a complaint, however I would have liked tea/coffee making facilities in the room.
Pleasant and comfortable, easy access albeit a touch far out from the centre. Enjoyable ambiance and surroundings. Readily acessible to 5th and 6th.
Not having an iron and ironing board was an irritation that should bnot happen. The shower was in front of the window and usable only by the most immodest. The Bath and bathroom were excellent however.
Nothing, hotel was pretty shabby..small rooms, difficult to even stand up, small toilets and bathrooms...Rooms were smelly and sheets were stained, we paid Euro 200/night but it was not even worth Euro 20/night..
Hotel was pretty shabby..small rooms, difficult to even stand up, small toilets and bathrooms...Rooms were smelling like any thing and sheets were stained with yellow marks, we paid Euro 200/night but it was not even worth Euro 20/night..
Good location; helpful, good English speaking staff.
Shear, but not opaque shades on bathroom windows.
location small but nice rooms
very attractive location in nice neighbourhood in Montparnasse
small rooms, strange shower
the position of the hotel was excelent, the staff frendly
the price of the breakfast is huge, room very small
Nice original Decoration in commons, rooms and bathroom. Does not really feel like a hotel. A window in the very nice bathroom.
Pocket size rooms even though was a superior room. Cleanliness could be better in particular in Bathroom. Exotic prices for breakfast of very poor quality. Exotic prices for bar and mini-bar Was not told hotel became entirely non smoking. Badly sound proofed. Kept awake until 2.30 am from next's flat's party ?! Suspicious brown stains on bed cover. Average comfort in bed. Old shaby blanket as opposed to duvet and sheets could be of better quality
