It was a well appointed hotel with great value for money.
A bit far from the CBD but the free bus service is right across the street.
The staff were extremely friendly, and I have to say that the staff at the bar were entertaining and freindly.
I am five dauys out from leaving there and I still have holds on my Visa card even though my bill was paid in full when I left . Initially I had two holds that equaled my full stay of $2800 plus the payment in full. Even now one business week later I have roughly $1400 in holds on my card. That is quite a lot of money to tie up.
staff where not the usually friendly hyatt people i have experienced in the past. food is well below par, executive lounge is not good value for money.
I told them it was our anniversary on our booking form. They gave us a card and a complimentary bottle of champagne.
Comfortable and spacious with friendly staff
Hot buffet breakfast was not value for money
Clean rooms, lovely room setting, great bathroom
the internet advertisement of free shuttle to/from airport does not exist...this was the reason why we chose this hotel despite the high price for room. the bedroom floor was dirty, my white socks turned dark brown; they forgot to put a sheet under the comforter. the concierge pointed us to a neat italian restaurant and had a great meal. we stayed one night in htis hotel (thank god!) as we were in transit from LA to exmouth, wa
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The hotel is currently undergoing a refurbishment, which is good news as the room we had was tired and did not impress. The hotel caters for business types and I would not recommend it for anything else, it is functional. If you are on a vacation, I recommend booking alternative accommodation. In my opinion the Hyatt was poor value for money, ok if the company is paying but excessive when it is out of your pocket.
Paid for a river view room and got a poolside room. No tea or milk only 1 bathrobe.
Privacy, Great breakfast, nice to able to have a coffee during the day, Canapes a a couple of drinks at the end of the day to relax
Could have had the 9th floor cleaned or vacuumed
service was great, room was lovely and bed comfortable
Fairly comfortable and spacious room. Bathroom was nice. Staff member Junko in Cafe was pleasant. A young, Caucasian girl with dark long hair (sorry, cannot remember name) had a lovely smile and was the only one to make me feel welcome.
Not all, but generally fairly poor interaction with staff. Few smiled. Concierge was not friendly and promised to get details regarding a football match and never did. One waiter seemed to pass a sly remark about our appearance to others upon arrival as we walked past the cafe to the elevator (we had just traveled 6 hours from Denmark). Small TV in room. Not value for money.
