Sanno Marracoonda Perth Airport Hotel

the room was clean, bed was comfy, shower was hot and the location was close to the airport. Okay value for money as long as you don't really care about customer service

We booked a stay for one night at Sanna Marracoonda because it included a free 24 hour airport shuttle. I called the hotel at 11:30pm, ready to be picked up, and was told to wait outside at a specified post. The staff said "it can take up to half an hour." Waited half an hour and no shuttle. Another hotel guest had been waiting there 10 minutes longer than us. I called the hotel again and was told that the shuttle driver and maintenance worker were the same person and he had been busy with an issue in one of the rooms. I was understanding, thinking this is probably a small, family run operation. The receptionist told me the shuttle would arrive in 20 minutes. We waited 20 more minutes and still no shuttle. Finally, after we had waited a full hour (and the other guest had waited 1 hour and 10 minutes) the shuttle arrived. Driver got out and yelled "SANNO MARRACOONDA" and stood beside the van while guests loaded their own bags, including small women and big bags. Not once did he apologize for the delayed pick up or offer to help with luggage AT ALL! He didn't even say hello! Then drove to the domestic airport for another pickup. By the time we made it to the hotel it was 1am. I asked if we could check out an hour late because our pick up the next day was at noon. Hotel said no. I said as I had been understanding about their major delay if they could do me the same favour. Still no. Also, the tap SCREAMS when you turn it on and the blinds didn't close fully. Don't come here!
