Pros (+) Clean, comfortable, friendly. Family was personable. Lovely pool. Nice room and amenities.
Cons (-) Chemicals were used everywhere, especially air fresheners, which can cause breathing problems for some people. Location was difficult to find for us and the other guests. Communication could have been better, maybe because the son checked us in.
Pros (+) It felt very much like home and bedroom felt very luxury experience. The owners were very polite tried make me feel very comfortable.
Cons (-) Only thing was downstairs they were always there because they owned the place that's understandable.
Pros (+) The backyard was nice, though the pool wasn't usable
Cons (-) Carpets were very dirty. We found nail clippings on our dresser. We were led to believe we would have a private bath, which wasn't the case. The shared bath was carpeted, including by the toilet. The shower curtain was dirty.
Pros (+) The price was excellent, ands the people running it were friendly and accommodating.
Cons (-) when I hear "B&B," I think "quaint old home staffed by professionals." This was obviously a person's home, and we were crashing in one of their extra rooms. The neighborhood is a half- hour from downtown Phoenix, Scottsdale, and the airport, making cab rides expensive.
