The hotel is run down and we were emailed a couple days before our stay that they would be remodeling so the pool and gym were closed. When we checked in they said they were having issues with room occupancy and checked our room to make sure it was empty. It was full so they put us in a different room. However, shortly there after I discovered that the hotel is going through a transition in ownership and that the new ownership is focusing on making the rooms cleaner and more comfortable for the guests. Pros (+) The location is good. The property seemed clean other than what’s mentioned below.
Cons (-) My room wasn’t clean when I arrived. The bed was a mess. Towels were piled in the bath tub. I told housekeeping but they didn’t seem that interested. The bed was a Sleep Number but didn’t work. Hard as a rock.

Pros (+) The hotel itself was very nice. The carpeting in the common areas was a bit stained and looked dirty but the room was very clean. The bed was a sleep number so we had to have maintenance come up to show us how to use it but agree we figured it out it was a very comfortable sleep. The only draw back was the parking garage. Pros (+) The staff particularly Patricia was incredibly helpful. Very convenient to ASU and fine dining. The beds and room are quite comfortable. We liked it so much we stayed three nights in a ten day period. Great breakfast offerings

Pros (+) Room was very clean, liked the layout, flat screen tv, breakfast good with hot food, waffles, etc. nice business center with free printing (printed my boarding passes there). Close to airport, Walgreens, staples.
Cons (-) Parking garage was dirty and fairly dark. I was really watching as I traveled through it because there were plenty of places for someone to hide. Access to it was only via street sidewalk. Stairway inside of garage was especially sketchy and looked like homeless people had been staying in it.
