Friendly welcome, good breakfast excellent friendly service and would stay there again if we were in the area.
food and staff were great. Rooms very clean. Staff gave excellent suggestions for day trips.
I had to really rack my brain to find anything to suggest for improvement. The only thing I could come up with is that the coffee was weak and could be stronger.
They gave us a really good welcome and were very attentive during our stay. It was a comfortable place and quiet, peaceful, very restful. We felt we weren't rushed at the meals and were always on hand to see to any needs required. Very helpful.
Although the hotel does not 'cater' for disabled people my only two complaints was about the room (12) on the ground floor. The kettle was on a shelf under the TV and the cable was too short to lift the kettle up any higher, with the result it was a bending and awkward experience. As a disabled person had my husband not been there I would not have been able to make our coffee. The power points were also very low to the floor and I had difficulty with them. They were also in the wrong position for mirrors when drying/styling hair. I'm sure had I said to them they would have replaced the kettle with an adequate length cable.
The owners, John and Viv Holmyard made us feel very welcome. The bedroom and ensuite were clean and of a good size. Breakfast was excellent. Pitlochry is a great place to visit with its shops and the theatre and the extremely beautiful Perhshire hills as a backdrop.
My wife and I have no complaints about this hotel. It is excellent.
Lovely large, comfortable room and very good service. Convenient location in Pitlochry, which is a great base for enjoying the surrounding area.
it was very close to the wedding venue we were attending
we were made a little uncomfortable asking for a late key- we needed this if we were staying out after 11:15pm
Location, excellent breakfast, quiet spot.
Friendly welcome. The location. Home cooked food. Pleasant atmosphere.
attention to detail. Breakfast superb, well cooked and presented in a delightful dining room
Owner and staff very helpful throughout our stay. Food & cleanliness excellent.
