Nice place, could use a few tweaks
Nice location and very friendly staff.
Rooms are a bit small and so are the twin beds.
La propreté des lieux, chambres nickel et faites tous les jours
Chambre très chaude, pas de clim, donc obligé d'ouvrir les fenêtres qui donnent sur la rue avec le rue de la circulation et du tramway
Really, really LOUD and UNCOMFORTABLE
Nice staff
Horrifically uncomfortable beds, too hot in the rooms, plus really really loud street noise adds up to consistently poor sleep. I was so incredibly exhausted after a week here.
The location is right across the train tracks from the centrum of Prague, which is nice, but it's "on the wrong side of the tracks" so-to-speak. However, the basic facilities are good for the price.
Parking is about $25 (US) for one night and you must have a tiny car to fit through the entrance. The staff is incredibly unfriendly and unhelpful. When I asked (in Czech) if the woman behind the counter spoke English, her response was "of course" but in further talking with her (in English), I found her English wasn't very comprehensive. I also saw her being rude (not only to me) but to various other patrons.
all i can say is this is the fifth time i have stopped here and will be back again
Had to move rooms because of the noise of the street at the front. Rooms and breakfast were adequate.
Nice hotel, good value, good location. Receptionist was polite, but did not smile once. Breakfast was decent. I would stay there again.
Excellent room. Good staff support. Good breakfast. Well situated and excellent transportation facilities. Good value for money, as I was shifted to a family room for the price of double room.
The carpet near the bathroom door was soaked with water. No dust bin in the bedroom. No ac or fan in the room for the summer time.
The hotel is ideally situated just 200m from the tram stop (take Tram no.9, just 3 stops and you'r in the city center). The hotel is clean, spacious and the rooms are big and well furbished with everything you need. The satff is very helpful.
Never ever stay here during summer. We arrived quite late at night and it was like walking into a sauna. Our Room had not been aired out and opening the window did not help. It was actually cooler outside than inside. The second night was even worse and after 3 hours of sweating and no sleep we hade to beg the receptionist to give us his fan (and it was waay cooler in the lobby). The next day we were offered another room, but we could not risk another day without sleep so we changed hotel. It's the perfect hotel for winter/fall/early spring, but once the summer heat arrives choose another hotel with aircondition. Was also quite alot of noise from the traffic below, so ask for a room facing away from the main road.
Excellent position-large rooms by European standards
