No frills central location at competitive price
The hotel is located at the edge of the Kampa area which seems like a shared large backyard / park type of place. We parked in this area behind the hotel (charged) and it seemed like a safe area. Every day and night we would walk through the park as a short cut to the rest of the city. It never seemed like a dangerous place. The breakfast area is quite cheesy with all the (fake?) armors and medieval weapons. I love music but the live piano or harpsichord just made the place more noisy. The buffet is plentiful but the quality of item was quite ordinary. The room was large and had no air conditioning which wasn't much of a problem but then we had to sleep with the window open and hear all the noise early morning.
Nothing too serious, only the small annoyances that seem to be present everywhere in Prague.
The central location, proximity to public transport, cleanliness of the rooms and the castle theme of the hotel.
I would have liked a busier bar and lower prices in the hotel restaurant,it would have encouraged me to spend an evening or two there.
Location was excellent
The fact that we could not book the taxi of our choice and had to use the one recommended by hotel which we found to be very expensive and driver non communactive and very aggressive driver.
Thank you for a great service.
The position was absolutely perfect for siteseeing in Prague, the reception desk staff were very friendly, we had an excelent breakfast each day. Its in walking distance to the whole of central Prague.
We decided to have a drink and eat in the hotel on our final evening as the restauarant was very appelaing. However, when we went to get a drinlk and go to the restaurant we were informed they both were closed for a private function - not very good for paying hotel guests
Friendly staff, good breakfast
the beds at the hotel and teh pillows
They left a chocolate in my pillow everyday The staff were very friendly and tried to help me in everything I asked
Some things in the breakfast, but I don't think it's the hotel's fault but Prague's food
excellent hotel for combination - business+tourism
great location (5 min walking distance from Charles Bridge), awesome bed, awesome restaurant decoration (medieval style)
Although we paid cash for all the 3 rooms reserved at the hotel, they also charged the card for which I gave information on booking.com!!!!!!!!
Location was very good
The restaurant and bar were booked for private functions both nights we were there.
Based in quiet area with easy walking to all central locations
Staff - Not sure if its a language barrier!! They should learn to smile and say hello!!!!
