Pros: Amazing staff service especially by he hotel greeter Pedro!since the minute we got there, he already had gone above and beyond to making our stay there the most welcoming. With this being said, The Westin definitely does not disappoint in how well present, accommodating, and easily accessible to the beach. Defitely recommend a stay here especially during March when all the spring breakers are in town!

Pros: We loved the gym facilities, tennis courts. Great breakfast spread which was included, rooms were nice and clean. Staff friendly and would deliver drinks to the beach/ poolside.
Cons: Wished the beach was longer to walk (cove with little peninsulas that were rocky to cross to get to the next small cove) Didn't like the lunch restaurant/ outdoor eating options during the day.

Pros: Every single person who works at the westin was SO nice! One morning at breakfast downstairs, I had mentioned to the waiter that my boyfriend and me were loving this place but getting bit so bad by mosquitos after he asked how we were doing. When I came back from getting my breakfast at the buffet, there was mosquito repellant sitting on our table. Arnoldo (our waiter) had left it there for us to use. So nice!! Everyone there was just happy and did whatever they could to make our stay enjoyable-which it was. This place is clean and set in the most perfect location. We cannot wait to go back!!!

Pros: This is a visually beautiful property! We love the lush green grounds, the clean and fairly quiet pools, the large rooms and views. My husband really enjoys the workout facility.
Cons: We don't like the rising fees. "Tips" for maid and bell service are now included, and the Westin will charge a US$15 per day "resort fee" starting February 2019. Add 3% hotel tax and the 16% IVA tax that we pay as Mexican residents, and it's not a deal, even at convention rates.

Pros: Staff was excellent even before I arrived, especially because my flight was delayed and wanted to ensure my room remained reserved. The manager assured I was still a guest no matter how late I arrive, and also extended my check out time! Outstanding service in my book!

Cons: Lack of cleanliness of rooms. On our last day they knocked on door to spray for bed bugs. Woke up with bug bites each morning not knowing from what until they came to spray. Will never stay their again because of the lack of cleanliness. Staff were fabulous.

Cons: Staff seemed stressed and not appreciated by supervisors. Pool lacked towels (were hidden in a rolling bucket), and had zero towels at 7pm when I wanted to go swimming. Lobby was cold and had no warmth or delights. Overpriced food. Far from center of Puerto Vallarta.

Cons: only issue i had was when i requested a late check out, they refused. i asked to speak to a manager and they changed their mind and gave me an extra hour. just seemed weird, it was the first time i've ever been told no on a late check out request at any hotel.

Pros: The resort staff was amazing beyond any expectations. Friendly, helpful, and willing to go above and beyond to assist guests in any way. The resort is beautiful and well taken care of. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. I would recommend this resort to anyone and plan to come back soon. Thank you Daniel, Marco, Alan and Adrian. There are more people I would like to thank but I didn't get their names but they were great.

Pros: The whole experience was amazing. Not only is the property beautiful and so relaxing, but the employees are friendly and very helpful.My husband and I do a lot of traveling and have stayed in all kinds/levels of accommodations all over the world. This has become our favorite place and we return just about every year. In fact,we have come so many times that they upgraded us to a suite this last time which was amazing. The restaurants on site are among the best in Puerto Vallarta. The rooms are always clean and the beach is not overcrowded like some of the accommodations in the hotel zone. It's convenient to the airport and is about a 5 minute walk to the Marina which has lots of restaurants and shops.
Cons: The only thing that could be better is to have another few days there.

Pros: The Marina area is less congested than the Zona Romantica which gives the whole area a laid back feel. The pool was a great size and you steps away from the beach. Easy bus transportation to other parts of town. Several restaurants in the area if you don't want hotel food. The public areas were nice with decorated with a certain flair.
Cons: I expected more luxe giving the relatively high price - not Four Seasons standards but maybe a little more. The rooms were nice enough but the decor seemed to lack a certain Mexican spark. The rooms were more like generic hotel rooms - nice but generic.

Pros: I have been to this resort many times over the past 8-10 years. It never disappoints me. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the facility is VERY nice. It feels like home to us and we are from the cold north. We love Puerto Vallarta and REALLY love the Marriott Casa Magna! We will be back again next year!

Pros: I was able to walk there from the airport and it only cost 80 pesos to get a taxi the next morning to the central bus terminal. The wifi signal was very strong in all the public areas including around the pool. Although not as strong in my room, it was still good enough. The continental breakfast included yogurt, granola, and fresh fruit as well as the usual stuff.
Cons: It's a ways from the beach and from Old Town for people who are planning a longer stay.

Pros: Big and heated pools. Good sized rooms. And good drinks(not watered down).
Cons: Only 2 restaurants with very limited menu. And some of the items would finish very early leaving rests of the guests with even less choices. There were only 4-5 deserts in lunch and dinner. Nightly shows were pathetic and very few guests attended those. Kids club activities were non-existent.

Pros: Beautiful grounds, suites nice w/ great views, pools, bars. Restaurants were good for breakfast, lunch and dinner - open all day long. Friendly staff. Cooking classes, karaoke, dancing, etc.
Cons: Only issue we had was that the Mariachi band played in the lobby until 2am, which included trumpets playing loudly. Some guests took that party to their rooms after causing a disturbance. We called front desk and resort compensated us with a couple of $90 spa certificates (hour massage) as well as champagne and choc-covered strawberries. Appreciated that.

Pros: The grounds are lovely and the staff is great. The access to the beach is a real bonus. Senate at all three restaurants and the food was a cut above what I had initially expected, especially the breakfasts. The rooms are a little Spartan, but honestly very comfortable and extremely clean.
Cons: There is no real bar. People hang at the pool all day and they serve drinks in the lobby and restaurants at night, but there isn't a regular bar anywhere on property. Given the amount of alcohol the staff has to run and get (even delivering to rooms) it would seem everyone would be happier with a place that had some music To hang out in. Likely they view the lobby this way, but the ambiance is wrong. It's my only complaint.

Pros: Karina, the manager, and the entire staff were truly professional and just wanted us to enjoy our vacation. By the way, definitely don't forget to make it to the Ocean Club, and if you're staying for 5 nights, you'll get to try a restaurant at the Grand Velas; don't miss it!
