Hotel Casato Licitra

The room was well presented, spacious and clean.

The hotel was far from easy to locate. The website overview failed to mention that the hotel is surrounded by a working farm and extensive dog kennels together with their associated smells and noise. Initially our room felt damp and smelt very musty and we were informed that all rooms were the same due to the old stone construction.

Tranquility. Internet connection working very well. Food in the restaurant very good. Staff very nice.

Television with poor reception in some channels. Bathroom produtcs (like soap, shower gel, etc) could be better (regarding room prices).

Friendly owners, reception young lady very nice and helpfull. Free parking. Very nice facilities, old villa refurbished with a very good taste, big room (room + living room). If you look for isolated countryside, the surroundings are gorgeous, and at the same time sea is not far. Food is absolutely fabulous. I recommend this hotel, but better avoid the rainy, cold weather.

Due to a storm, internet rooter was not working (and for that I can't rate "services" with more than "fair"). The room was so big that the AC was not enough to warm it (but it was a cold, very wet day). Also due to the weather I got (I believe), room had a strong moisty smell. Shower place was to small, I think a "well built" person wouldn't fit inthere.
