Excellent 10.0
Pros: We took the Villa Deluxe. This is an amazingly nice house with real comfortable beds for my family of 5 in 3 different bedrooms. We were welcomed with a fire in the fireplace when we arrived. There is a refrigerator and a full kitchen. There is even a Nespresso machine. The food is very good, but not as exceptional as the site. We did horse back riding organised by Finca Valentina. It was great at a fair price. We also took the cooking (empanadas) course. It was a good cultural experience.
Cons: The dinner is served around 10PM, which is quite late for a North American family with young kids but normal for an Argentine. Internet is sluggish, (1mbps u/d) but I think it is not possible to have a faster connection outside of urban areas.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: One of the most beautiful hotels during my stay in Argentina. A wonderful atmosphere and amazing hosts. An evening dinner with other guests was a plus.
Cons: It’s probably not a place for young (50 and below) single travellers as most of the other guests were couples in their 50s-60s.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Very friendly staff, excellent food, Calm and relaxing environment, very homely, good socializing possibilities with other guests if you want.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Lovely setting, first class staff, beautiful room, living room, and dining room decorated by an owner with an exquisite eye for Argentine craft artistry, and a wonderful dinner. Exceeded even my high expectations.
Cons: Nothing.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything. We arrived around 17 and were welcomed with a nice glass of wine. Dinner was wonderful as well as the breakfast. We did not try their lunch. The outdoor area with swimming pool is beautiful. We can recommend this to everyone.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Finca Valentina is one of the best places I have ever stayed. A little outside Salta, the location is stunning, staff are friendly and professional, plus the finca is beautifully designed. We took the horse riding one morning too (we are total beginners) I would really recommend this. Dinner at the Finca also superb. 10/10.
Cons: The whole experience was fantastic!

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The beauty of the house and the surrounding, the swimming pool was great, the meals were delicious, this is the best place where we stayed in 3 weeks in Argentina
Cons: Nothing
Okay 5.0
Pros: The views and physical grounds
Cons: Truly awful and overpriced food and lodging. The pool was never cleaned/full of bugs. 6 recliners for a hotel that holds up to 40 people. While the staff was polite, if you want any type of food/drink service by the pool, you need to go into the building to request it. You only need 2 nights max in Salta. Do not recommend this place unless you want to be overcharged. Unfortunately there aren’t many (any?) luxury lodging choices in Salta
Excellent 8.8
Cons: Food was pretty mediocre
Excellent 9.0
Pros: A fantastic place in the middle of the countryside, decorated with an excellent taste. You feel like if you were at home. Heated pool which it's fantastic because you can swim all the year.
Cons: The place is beautiful but the outside was not so well maintained for a so charming place. There were weeds on the terraces, the pool was not perfectly painted but it was probably because it's the beginning of the season.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Place, staff, rooms, food, all impeccable.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Beautiful Estancia just outside Salta, very peaceful, beautiful room (once we upgraded to a junior suite). The location is fabulous if you’re looking to explore the beautiful surrounding area, the drive to Cafayate is spectacular and worth doing.
Cons: Service tended to be a bit slow but the real annoyance here are the lack of sunloungers and shade around the pool area, apart from that we had a great stay
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Beautiful quiet countryside, perfect for a break from the city. Rooms beautifully designed and very comfortable

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The rooms were large and comfortable. Nice communal areas with books and great games for the kids Beautiful Mountain View from the grounds
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The owner can provide you drinks and dinner upon asking. He carries a wonderful Malbec in stock which gets your Argentine vacation off to a good start
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The helpfull staff offered at 4 in the morning a good breakfast. Great.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Friendly staff
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Great people, a lot of space to relax and kids to run around. Great pool, good food and nice family rooms. 5 mins drive from airport but no noise issues.
Cons: Internet was weak and playground needed constant attention by parents as it is on concrete and all metal slides, swings, etc
Good 7.5
Pros: Comfortable, clean & people extremely helpful. So good to be able to get some lovely food & drink even arriving late! Thank you!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We booked here mainly because we wanted to be close to the airport. The place exceeded our expectations. Very large garden area with several places to sit outside. Nice swimming pool. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Good breakfast. Friendly host. They also have a small menu in case you don’t want to go to town to eat.
Cons: Located at one of the main roads, so at times a little noisy if you sit in the garden area near the entrance. But the place is big enough to find yourself a quiet spot.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Very helpful and dedicated host. Cozy and huge country style hostel: great atmosphere. Two minutes away from airport.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Excellent location for Salta airport and also close to the motorway. The communal spaces are fantastic. Breakfast included make-your-own orange juice press, which was fantastic.
Cons: The pool was large but not very clean- water appeared a bit green. The apartment's kitchen was very dated and I would not feel comfortable preparing meals there. A/C only in one bedroom. Bring earplugs if you are light sleeper as the noise of the cicadas in the evening is deafening.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The owners were amazingly kind and helpful it’s fantastic value for money
Cons: That I couldn’t stay longer!

Excellent 8.0
Pros: Booked here because I had a very early flight the next morning and the hotel is only a couple of kilometers from the Salta airport. The location is what brought me in, but the hotel was very nice. Huge room, large, well-equipped bathroom, nice grounds, pretty pool, good soundproofing, secure parking. Oddly, dinner was included in the very reasonable price. It was not a peak experience meal, but it was just fine. They won't serve you the included breakfast if you insist on leaving at 4:30 in the morning to catch your plane, but who can blame them? I'm planning to return to Salta, and I'd certainly spend the night before a flight here again.
Cons: The reading light by the bed was not very good, but they almost never are.
Good 6.7
Pros: The hotel was very close to the airport, which is exactly why we booked it. Only a 5 min drive and the 24hour front desk was great to be able to get us a taxi at 3am! Good place to get ready the night before flying but wouldn’t stay much longer.
Cons: Our check in was hopeless. We pretty much weren’t acknowledged properly or spoken to. When we arrived a man at the desk just handed us a key and pointed us to a room on the first floor. Our room was so hot and uncomfortable, especially sleeping at night & the air-con didn’t work at all. Our room was so noisy- we felt like we had the kitchen and dining room right outside our door. I suggest asking for another room if you get 112.
Mediocre 2.9
Pros: It‘s close to the airport
Cons: No wifi Very dirty Only cold water Dirty floor, stains on the curtains and nasty bed
Good 6.3
Pros: Very basic hotel close to the airport.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Excellent price for the place. Comfortable beds, easy check in (even before time). Excellent breakfast! We had dinner at their cafeteria too. Food was delicious for the price and abundant. With the portion of one can easily eat too. Great pizza!! It remind me my Italian dad!!
Cons: nothing
Excellent 8.3
Pros: The beds and pillows were comfortable. The room was large. The bathroom was spacious and well equipped. The location was perfect for a quick overnight near the airport. The location was very quiet. Well worth the money.
Cons: The TV shelf was placed so that you had to be very careful not to bump your head, especially in the dark.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I really like the location of the hotel, because we wanted to stay near the airport. For visiting the city of Salta is probably not so convenient. Pool was excellent, clean, temperature of water was great, not crowdy. We didn't use their meal options, only breakfast, and it was fine.
Okay 5.4
Pros: The property is close to the airport and has parking.
Cons: There was no hot water in the morning.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The property is very close to the airport and ideal for a 6 am flight.
Cons: It’s an airport hotel . No restaurant facility around, no “style”. Evening meal was good but rather pricey.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: We arrived really early in the morning and it was possible to get into the room before check in time, we even got the three bed room for two peaple and had the room for ourselves. The staff was really nice and welcoming, the only downside was that it was somehow hard for us to get information on things to do and places to see. But other than that they were super nice and they made the best empanadas and pizas! The hostel is a little bit away from the center and the bus station, but it is totally possible to walk. The atmosphere in the hostel is really good! We met a lot of amazing people and simply had a great time!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff are wonderful, very very friendly.
Cons: There wasn’t a thing about my stay here I didn’t like.
Good 7.0
Pros: Breakfast is good, And the overall hostel is nice.
Cons: Rooms are small and old and not necessarily comfy, especially doubles. The staff was not really helpful, but we were there at NYE, and nobody was working on that day. It is indeed 15 minutres from the centre.
Okay 5.0
Pros: Ahhhm. Not a lot. The wifi was better than some places we’ve been. Private bathroom tidied each day. The staff we approached for help did their best and were mostly friendly. But if you don’t speak any Spanish you’ll have a hard time. Location was ok, about 5 blocks or 15 min walk from centre.
Cons: This place had a rating of 8 when we booked. Not sure how they managed that. Photos made it look far more tidy and inviting than it actually was. It was dark and dingy with a dangerous lack of lighting at night, and messy for the most part with ash trays and empty bottles lying around all over the show. Much like a student flat. The kitchen was run down and filthy and not well equipped as stated. With signs saying the facilities were for ‘restaurant’ use only. Confusing. The fridge was horrendous with old food scattered throughout and water in the bottom somehow. The freezer door was hanging off its hinges. We were reluctant to try cooking in there cause of filth and lack of equipment. Breakfast was indeed 2 stale biscuits (1 biscuit if they’re running low) with a dollop of apricot jam, as mentioned in other reviews. I didn’t believe it at first.. ‘Breakfast’ is also from 8am, too late for many tours you may be doing, even if you do happen to want those biscuits for their calorific value. The room we had, a four bed suite, was tidy enough but the beds were painful after 4 nights, ok for one night I guess. The private bathroom was ok but the shower ran onto the floor so the whole room floor got wet. Not ideal. All the taps I came across leaked and were hard to use cause the washers were all knackered. A plumber could be busy for a month in this place. Meanwhile there are stickers stating to conserve water... Possibly the most annoying thing was that our room only had a multi-board screwed to the wall for power points. Four points on this multi-board and only one of the points worked. The rest were faulty so to charge our devices required taking turns. The points were also well off the ground with nothing to rest your phone on. With some renovations done to address the above issues of disfunction and disrepair and some rules and regulations for messy guests and some policing of said rules, (maybe new management?) this place could be quite nice.
Okay 4.6
Pros: Staff is friendly
Cons: Really dark rooms. Breakfast is a biscuit. No towels. Matras is foam, sleeps very bad. Big group of noisy people during our stay
Excellent 9.6
Pros: A friendly environment and the staff were very helpful.
Cons: The cold water tap didn’t work in my shower
Okay 5.0
Pros: There’s a heater in the room but it only worked after 8pm.
Cons: No towels, no soap, only a roll of toilet paper provided. Only a shower curtain separating the toilet and the space for shower. However after a shower, the floor turned wet everywhere in the bathroom. No hangers, no boiling cattle. Just a double bed with a so-called bathroom.
Good 7.5
Pros: Good value for money, large rooms, nice outside space.
Cons: Very loud as the rooms aren't soundproofed, kept awake until 3 am. The bed was not a proper mattress just foam, so very uncomfortable.

Good 7.1
Pros: . Wi-Fi worked brilliantly in our room . Staff were helpful, and let us use their phone to make excursion enquiries . Amazing spread at breakfast - if you like very sugary things! We mainly stuck to bread rolls, the only savoury option!
Cons: . Bed sheets had some stains . One of our mattresses was pretty bad, with a large hole in it . You cannot pay by card, despite what the booking.com profile says, which was annoying as it's why we chose this accomodation!
Good 6.3
Pros: Location was good
Cons: Bathroom was cramped and shower was difficult
Good 7.1
Pros: spacious room, basic breakfast (as usual in south america)
Cons: a bit aged and loud
Good 7.9
Pros: Nice staff. Very nice breakfast. Good wifi and the room is ok.
Good 7.5
Pros: Great staff . Very kind and friendly. Good place for a cheap night in Salta.
Good 7.9
Pros: Our room was clean and spacious with a private bathroom. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot and we were given soap and towels. The room was cleaned, the bed was made and we were given fresh towels every day. The staff were all very friendly and helpful! There is no kitchen but you can keep food in the big fridge in the reception area. The location was good- about a 20 minute walk from the bus terminal and around 10 minutes from the main square with bars and restaurants nearby. Good value for money with breakfast included- ideal for a short stay in Salta.
Cons: The air conditioning was leaking water on to the bed sometimes but we just moved it a bit so it wasn't a big problem. The breakfast was mostly sweet stuff, which is traditional I know, but some fruit or savoury food would have been good too. The wifi was a bit temperamental at times.
Good 6.7
Pros: The staff were pleasant and helpful. Plenty of hot water
Cons: The place has seen better days.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Everything was OK for the price, central location and very helpful stuff.
Okay 5.4
Pros: The staff were nice and let me defer payment, as they didn't except dollars or cards and I didn't have enough pesos. The location is good for both the centre of town and the bus terminal, but it is quite overnight.
Cons: I didn't expect much for such a cheep room, so was surprised to be so disappointed! The bathroom was in very poor repair - there was a leak under the sink that made quite a big puddle and the toilet flush was cracked and temperamental. I got a blanket out of the cupboard which was horribly musty smelling. The power went off repeatedly, despite the neighboring buildings having power, which meant that I had no air conditioning over night and had to pack for my early morning bus by the light of a head torch!

Excellent 9.0
Pros: Perfect location, reception 24/24, nice staff, clean (it's cleaned everyday), possibility to lock the backpack in a safe room, lockers in the room, close to everything in the center, the common parts are enjoyable
Cons: I put cheese in the fridge which has been stolen or removed. Some other stuff were "lost" for my friends and I, it's a pity. Be careful with your stuff! The breakfast is very small, could be better, but at least, there is one! It's better than nothing. There is no soap in the bathrooms
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I liked staying in the hostel. I stayed 3 nights, booked some trips via hostel (the agency charges more for payment with card), breakfast was simple but good, I liked my room. Kitchen was OK, but I usually miss some equipment (but it's like that everywhere). It's close to big supermarkets, close to centre.
Cons: Be prepared for hot in the room in the summer. I would appreciate more sockets in my part of the room (upstairs with single beds), there was just one and it was for fan, I had to charge everything downstairs.
Okay 5.8
Pros: Good location, friendly staff
Cons: Very old, uncomfortable, shower is not so clean, very cold at night
Good 6.7
Pros: location & staff
Cons: too noisy & smelled musty
Excellent 8.3
Pros: The location, the shared kitchen, the staff, the courtyard.
Cons: Room a little bit small
Good 7.1
Pros: Friendly helpful staff. 👌
Cons: Was very noise of cars all night 😥
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Discount for staying more nights in a double room Nice and helpful staff Nice common area in the patio Great wifi after they installed additional repeaters
Cons: Small breakfast
