Great price but smelly
Price was very reasonable for downtown
Smell from the bathroom was strong
Guys at the front desk are all super nice.
Lady at the front desk could try smiling.
Very convenient to the SAP Center!
This is the best place to stay if you don't want to drive when attending an event at the SAP Center, which is less than a 10-minute walk. I also like that the place is very clean, the hotel and our room. My friend was in town to attend a concert with me and we were both very happy with the accommodations, especially since we just wanted a clean, safe place to stay and this was the place. The complimentary breakfast was pretty decent too. They had hot and cold options.
The hotel is a bit dated but my main concern is cleanliness and safety.
Fine for short stay
Close proximity to SAP center for events. New carpet and furnishings. Had a refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot in the room.
Air conditioner did not work, it was blowing hot air. Bathroom was dingy looking but superficially clean. Their recent remodel did not include the bathroom.
Walk to the SAP Center. Free parking. Free breakfast. Nice rooms!
Lighting in the room was poor, the shower temperature would constantly fluctuate between scolding hot and just barely warm. The hallways still smelled of fresh paint and carpet was a bit tattered. Location isn't bad and the staff and breakfast was great.
Not to shabby
Being woke up at 3am due to excessive loud noise outside the hotel window
The hotel is dated and could use a remodel, but it was reasonably priced. The room was clean, large but old. There was a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom which we didn't use. The switches and timer where outside the bathroom which dated the place. Still the room was good for what we needed it for. We had a good stay there.
The room was beautifully remodeled with high ceilings and lots of space. Continental breakfast was filling and fresh.
My first impression of the hotel was not great, however, the staff was friendly and the rooms were very clean. The rooms above us were a little noisy.
Poor customer service
Location was convenient
The staff was unfriendly, I did not feel welcome. The lighting in the room was terrible, air conditioning difficult to adjust, and carpet was dirty
Everything, from cleanliness of our room to the friendly service.
Is a great hotel, in my groups opinion it was better suited for many people than the Fairmount Hotel. Next year for fanime we will be staying at the Arena Hotel the whole time.
The facility and rooms are old and dirty.
was great location,walking distance to hp pavillion,wonderful decor,quiet, comfortable bed,pleasant staff,coverd parking-free
water vending machine on 3rd floor and stove in suite old
the breakfast was good and the staff very helpful
We liked that we had a fridge and microwave in the room. The breakfast was ok, sounded better (and bigger) than it was. The location was good.
Everything looked a bit shabby.
Excellent front desk staff
Short walk to San Jose Pavillion. Our room was upgraded to a suite without asking. Free Breakfast and Dinner
Although the room was upgraded to a suite, we had four people and now one Queen bed and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was not very comfortable and only had one thin blanket. The hotel was out of extra blankets
Loved the jacuzzi tub! Very relaxing. Hotel was quiet and although we didn't have time to partake of the complimentary breakfast offered, the lobby smelled absolutely wonderful with the aromas of eggs and bacon.
We are non-smokers and did not like the stale smoke smell in the hallways. It seemed like we had to walk through that area to get to the non-smoking rooms.
Our room was clean and confortable
The front desk person was too rushed and unpersonal
It was pretty good. Very close to HP Pavilion and convenient
Smoke smell in the hallways
close to the HP pavillion. complimentary dinner and breakfast
