The bed was super comfortable and the room was really spacious
The pool was kind of gross.
This hotel served the purpose for me - it was close to where I needed to be, and it was in my price range. Overall, it was a fairly pleasurable stay. The room was clean and roomy. Although, I didn't understand when I booked it, it was a handicap-accessible room - which things were laid out a little differently than I expected. Other than that, the staff was friendly. The complimentary breakfast was good - and even served until 10am, which allowed us to sleep in a bit.
I didn't have any substantial negatives - only some things I would have preferred or expected to be different. For instance, there was only 1 table in the breakfast room itself. You had to take your food and sit at one of the tables or island in the lobby... just seemed odd. And one other minor thing, I would have wanted the TV to be a little bigger in size than just a 27".
It was quiet and the front desk was friendly. We live a few cities away and didn't want to drink and drive after a party. It served it's purpose.
I was a bit grossed out by the cleanliness of the bathroom. Most if not all hotels I've been in have the toilet paper folded (arrow) and this one didn't it. To me the folded t.p. is a clue that the restroom was fresh and clean. It made me second guess if someone had used the restroom prior to checking in or if it was cleaned. The following morning I took a shower and noticed that a used bar soap was still in the corner of the shower. I didn't touch it because I don't know who used it or how long it had been sitting there. As I was getting out of the shower I noticed medium sized long black hair on the wall of the shower. Again, I assume from previous guest. It second guessed my opinion of the cleaniless of the hotel and how thorough they are cleaned. I felt as if the towels were changed and that was about it.
Being able to use the upstairs business room for a meeting and size of my room.
