Pros:We were pleased with the roon we got. The manager was friendly and helped with the questions I had. The room was small in size, but for the one night we stayed it was fine. The room was clean, but had a musky smell (which didn't surprise me considering the age of the hotel). The bathroom was spotless! I was impressed with that since I have worked in a hotel as a housekeeper for two years. It was a quiet area too! I would stay here again the next time we head to Cedar Point!

Pros:This is an older property and it shows. For a close stay at a popular destination this is an excellent value. The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. Don't expect a lot more. We had a large group and needed several " inexpensive" rooms for a 2 night stay. We got that. This property is just a 5 min. drive from the front gate of Cedar Point.

Pros:Proximity to cedar point was convenient and price was fair
Cons:rooms were filthy..doors didnt seal..the pool was disgusting and way over chlorinated..bugs in the room kept getting bit all night.. Spend a little more and stay at a decent hotel next time

Cons:It was filthy, water damage to the walls, hole in the ceiling of the bathroom, the air conditioner sounded like it was slicing metal it screeched horribly, hair in the shower, mold throughout the bathroom and I'm sure the walls as well seeing how much water damage their was. I would never stay there with children and I will never stay there again. You could not reach anyone at the front desk the phone just rang off the hook. When trying to check out it took 15 minutes for someone to take our room cards and then she took off again. It is a disgrace to a hotel chain like Howard Johnson and I am appalled that it could be allowed to remain in operation.
