Pros:The property itself is a beautiful place. Have visited there for years. It is undergoing a change of ownership and currently feels like an abandoned ghost town. The landscape and the location is absolutely magical. But the hotel structure itself... it's beyond past it's prime. We ended up leaving after a half hour and checked into another hotel.
Cons:The building walkways are literally crumbling. Santa Fe gets snow in the winter time and Adobe and concrete need constant maintenance or will literally fall apart with the summer rains . This is the case at this hotel it is crumbling. More specifically the room we were given had a 20 inch screen box TV, was 92° inside, smelled like mold, and had dead bugs in the corners. They should just close until the new management and remodeling is done. Anything else feels like a rip off!
