The level of service here was outstanding, from the guys who parked the car, the one who drove the cart and luggage to the room and gave us a full tour of the property and our rooms, to the front desk offering flavored natural water, the waitresses serving dinner and breakfast, I mean everyone was so great!

Pros (+) We did like the view of the area and the sound from the water near the room we had. The main customer service was from Daniel at the desk that even gave directions to some good restraints in town.
Cons (-) We did not like the fact that we did not get any sleep the first night due to something in the mechanical room that was beside our room. The noise continued all night on and off. Then go to open the door in the morning to wet carpet at the door. Requested room change, waited then later got call to pack to get a new room. Packed and went to get key to find out no room yet. Tried to talk to manager ...

Pros (+) The property itself is a beautiful place. Have visited there for years. It is undergoing a change of ownership and currently feels like an abandoned ghost town. The landscape and the location is absolutely magical. But the hotel structure itself... it's beyond past it's prime. We ended up leaving after a half hour and checked into another hotel.
Cons (-) The building walkways are literally crumbling. Santa Fe gets snow in the winter time and Adobe and concrete need constant maintenance or will literally fall apart with the summer rains . This is the case at this hotel it is crumbling. More specifically the room we were given had a 20 inch screen box TV, was 92° inside, smelled like mold, and had dead bugs in the corners.
