Pros (+) The staff -- several of whom spoke good English -- were very friendly and forgave us our poor Spanish. They were patient with us when we tried to pay with a Discover card (not accepted much in Chile) and had to use another. The manager (or at least the one on duty when we were there) also helped us with a suggestion about which bus to use to get to Valparaiso the day we checked out. Another gentle...
Cons (-) It was a bit confusing to find -- the address belongs to more than one operation, it seems, and the man behind the desk right inside the front door did not speak English and had to call someone else to come get us. (He was, at least, able to nod when we said "Amistar Apartments" and motioned for us to wait for someone to help us.)
